Thanks Trampoline!

LET TODAY BE THE OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT THAT LGM WILL FINALLY MAKE A NEW GAME. LARRY VALES IV.

Title says it all. I've been inquired about updating the links to my games but I've lost any and all copies I had long ago. I know one of you, somewhere, has a backup of at least some of my games.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Also, Oh HAI!

I did that. All it said was something about lousy paint. Am I missing the paint thinner somewhere?

Right right, I saw the clues and stuff... But

I'm assuming I need to heat the invitation up some how, but ...how? The lighter won't work.

Okay now I have no idea how to crack this password. I am bad at these games apparently.

I must be really stupid. I can't figure out what I need to do to get into the apartment. I want to set something on fire, that seems to be logical. But what?!

I've already gone to the internet cafe. I just don't know which actual WORDS to type in when I'm on the phone. I've tried pretty much all of words in the article.

Can't seem to find these ciggies everyone's talking about.

I'll keep clicking around outside the apartment, I s'pose.

I don't know what specific keyword I need to enter in order to get the doctor's interest...

Nor do I know how to get past the intercom into the apartment.

What the actual fuck? Reading this thread is just as confusing as playing the actual game! I'm convinced that there's no one way to play this game.

I was under the impression that it was something to do with the implementation of DirectX in the engine.

I see a lot of votes for m0ds. If he's elected, we'll never get ANYTHING done...

I just came here to make that joke. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I'm curious to see where this all goes!

Bravo!

For you AGSers who also Reddit, here's a link you can upvote! http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/oik85/support_childs_play_charity_ags_bake_sale_bundle/

For the record, while citing you can "pay what you want" is fairly accurate, some people might be interested in why there is a 1.50 minimum. For transparency, you may want to explain what this charge is and where it goes? Not that I personally care, but internet people are notoriously scrutinous.

I posted this on Reddit for shits and gigs. Really impressive, guys. I can sing if ya'll ever want a guest artist!

General Discussion / Re: Movie Suggestions?

Some female leads:

Let the Right One In
Tideland
True Grit

More Kid centered dramas:

If you like Christian Bale as a kid, there's Newsies. It's a musical, but it's quite good. And Bill Pullman is in it
I second Where the Wild Things Are
There's also a german film called The Tin Drum. That's a very crazy, controversial one. Kinda offputting, but worth watching.

Dudes, I totally bought minecraft today. I'm digging big holes in someone's fortress. I don't feel guilty for stealing torches, either

Recruitment / Re: I want to make a game...

I want world peace and a bucket of chicken. But beyond that... Yes, I have a specific idea in mind but I don't know enough about game design to fit together all the pieces. I've had some response on this already, but the more the merrier.

Oh, and chicky... I don't have a clever comeback but I'll just leave you with this: "You make me pee."

Please DM me if you are interested in hearing my idea. It is very epic!

For those who are curious, I will say this idea is like a hybrid of LArts' The Dig, and the films Frequency, Pandorum, and Back to the Future.

It'll take a lot of work...

Recruitment / I want to make a game...

Who wants to help me make a game?

I have free cookies. Cookies for coding. There you go.

Anyone? Anyone?

Bueller?

(Seriously, though, anyone wanna take a crack at a game with ol' LGM. I'm looking for someone who wants to share in this adventure of making an adventure, which is why I'm not posting this in the request help thread...)
