That ultimate video rings a bell!

Ah, thanks Squinky! It'll be a while before I can re-do the song, sadly. TO BE CONTINUED!

Perhaps a second vocal attempt is a good idea, to be honest, I wasn't entirely happy with that myself, but my PC had to be packed up in a box. For a year. Still is. So impatient as I am, I went with it as it is! I guess I can just place it over the video at a later date! Yeah I guess it could do with a few more cut aways. Thanks for the honest, constructive critiscm guys! That's something you can always rely on at the AGS forums. :)

As for Prodigy, not at all, I just messed around with different sounds until something clicked, and then added guitars and more, and finally vocals. But I do like later Prodigy so I cannot deny any influences they might have.

Trapezoid... rings a bell!?

Lots of familiar faces still roam the AGS halls I see!

Congrats Cam!!

Hello! Anyone here remember my music? Well this is a spam post. I mean, well it is. Well that's what the net calls it. I call it "wanting people to see my music and how are they gonna know that unless I tell people". Although I don't go as far as spamming other musician's facebook pages and all that. That ain't cool. So if anyone remembers "No one Knows" with my colour changing head or "Stuck Together" with two versions of me, there is a new video now with me being moody in a deserted building and shouting at the camera. Oh and a funky guitar that changes colour. Simple trick, but I ain't seen it elsewhere! So please have a watch of my amateur video and spot the mistakes that I can't do anything about! Aw, go on!

I highlighted some apples in "Gray Matter", and clicked on them, and the character informed me that they are apples. Well, I'll be!!

Ha, I just thought to myself, "been a while since I went on the AGS forum.." and find Esper hath returneth!

Hello old chum, I don't find much time for the internet these days (short of buying things off Amazon or TellTale games), and I definetely don't have time to make games or create music anymore. :( Maybe if I ever changed my priorities in life....

On the 360 I could use grog with empty grog pint, but it was a bit finnicky, so there must be a way on pc too.

True I did play the 360 version. Okay then, here's the point of the game where I turned it off for good.

Wild West dream sequence:

Larry is in a bar, in a shooting section. I take down some bad guys. A cutscene is played. Whilst I am watching the cutscene, the enemies start shooting me, whilst I am unaware because it's showing me some other bad guys. I get past that section, and now I'm on a on-rails shooting section on a horse and carriage. Bad guys throw explosive barrels at me, but I cannot shoot some of the barrels down in time because I cannot even see them behind the corner yet. Next I am required to climb a mountain type cliff. I get to the top, and I cannot see my objective. I slowly creep towards the camera, unsure of what is in front of larry because the camera won't show me. Larry slips and the camera is now willing to show me that theres an edge. I fall and die. I lose the will to ever play this stinker of a game again.

And as for treating it as solely a platform game.. well It's a terrible platformer too.

I was just shocked you liked it even a bit! You're usually so critical about games, that's all!

Hmm, it doesn't sound as bad as MCL.

No no no, ProgZmax didn't quite express just how bad Box office bust is. I nearly snapped the disc in half out of anger and frustration, which would have been more fun than actually playing the game, but I wouldn't have been able to trade the game in if I'd done that.

And the platforming wasn't solid at all in my experience. (Maybe i've played more platformers than ProgZ?) And the camera WANTED you to not see where you're going and fall to your death.

Oh anyway, MONKEY ISLAND X2 OMG!!  :o

They are my two of favourate games of all time! I had Deus Ex on xbox, it was probably chunky on your pc because they ported it over from the xbox, not the other way round. (So I'm told)  Just a guess.

I'm trying my best not to get excited about Deus Ex 3 because it's being made by a different team.

15
They're linear and they're not open world, but Deus Ex, and Deus Ex Invisible War are very open in how you decide to play the game, and give you choice in your actions and those choices have consequences in the storyline. They're also more steampunk with guns and not ye olde rpg.

For example, in the first game, you could choose to save your brother, or let him fend for himself in a gunfight. If you save him, he's there in the game later on to help you, but if you let him die, then he's a goner!

Using the power of PAINT, I can reveal the message:

I played Dreamfall on the xbox, and I quite enjoyed it, even if it wasn't much of an actual game. I've never played TLJ, so when the same LTD edition box came in my shop second hand, I thought "what the hell, it's cheap enough, especially with my staff discount." and bought it myself.

18
Oh wow! I owned this game! It was bugged though, I was near the end of the game and a glitch made me stuck for ages.. I found the solution and it still didn't work. I realised it was a game ending bug and I started ALL OVER AGAIN and this time round the game let me get past where I was stuck! Grr. But there was about ooh.. no other point and click games around at the time so I was happy with this! (I had to mail order it as there weren't any Amiga games in the shops anymore by this point) It was on CD-Rom.

Yes, why did they get that guys voice and make it deeper for??

If they didn't pick up the item, then later on, they have to solve the puzzle without said item, and the puzzle is harder. Bit like real life then. Oh darn I don't have scissors, so I shall use my teeth!

Taking wikipedia with a pinch of salt.. I read about this guy who invented canned laughter, Douglass:

"Charley Douglass' infamous invention was properly tested in 1965 when producers were trying to launch Hogan's Heroes. CBS screened two versions of the same episode to measure audience reactions; one contained the laugh track, the other was silent. As Hogan's Heroes required cerebral viewing, the audience watching the silent version were left confused, and the episode failed miserably. The version with the canned laughter succeeded and CBS gave the show a green light. After this incident, no sitcom went on the air without a touch-up from Charley Douglass' laff box"
