Those are the exact same feelings and words Yufster said to m0ds. M0ds' p was barely floating the whole time.

It sure took you some time to reach them posts.

Of course, I believe I've hosted it here: http://duals.agser.me/Modules/QueuedSpeech_v3.0.rar I think that doesn't cover version 3.5. Currently a bit on the army side of things, but I'll have standard access to my harddrive rather shortly, if you can wait by then.

I've been trying to be in a girl band for a while now :PPP

In all seriousness, more band pics, and please state what your band is playing Cuiki.

I was secretly super jealous of Vince Twelve's ideas concerning the plot and the game mechanisms in general. I also joined the AGS forums in an attempt to succeed in my major plot to create a cultural impact, whatever that may be. Still not succeeded.

Happy birthday miguel!!

I still wonder if that topic "Summer means no religion or politics?" was a test to see if you could create the topic with the most replies (at one point it was). I've no idea why I have this idea in my head, but it's been there since the day I saw the topic and I've never bothered to ask. I sincerely doubt that was your plan all along but it would be relieving to get an answer regardless.

How have I missed this. Art style looks wonderful, storyline semi-interesting, I have this hunch that this will be a wonderful game. Best of luck and courage on finishing this.

Very much in favor of such notion.

You had me at hello. I've been waiting for this with anxiety and fear, best of luck , dear sir.

Keep at it!

Glad to see you're back coding. Particles must be moving prettily.

Modules & Plugins / Re: MODULE: Weather Effects

Lightningmodule.asc(61): Error (line 61): Undefined token 'RawSetColor'

not sure if this error is due to AGS being updated since this module was written.

Yeah, the module uses old drawing functions, I'm sure an advanced coder would have no trouble replacing them with the new ones.

also the link to the read-me file (http://www.2dadventure.com/ags/AkumayosWeatherModuleREADME.zip
)is broken.

Unfortunately, I don't have the readme file, but I made sure to cross the link to avoid further inconveniences.

Here beneath the mud
lies the world's most wanted stud
Perhaps not smart to still be
what he wanted was a mystery.

Wearing the weirdest shirts
always following skirts
Even in dreams, the one and only
Prick seemed happy but he was really lonely

Here's the right side of the room, having a keyboard, a tape recorder, a tv screen and some other stuff, along with a harddrive and an mp3 player lying, plus a guitar tuner, a wireless mouse and two harmonicas

And the left side of the room featuring a mask from THE WALL LIVE (last summer) two guitars, some cables, and a motherf$%^& amp!

You aren't the first newbie who dons the white armor as soon as icey is critiqued, and you certainly won't be the last.

I might have joined the forum lately but I've been lurking off and on and playing the games around here for years. I'm no 'n00b' and I'm certainly quite aware of how it works around here. I just decided to learn the engine before I signed up to avoid pointless "How do I do dat?!!1" threads. Couldn't live with that on my conscience. And to be quite frank, Khris, I just don't approve of the way people mock this guy. It's about plain decency. Not everyone is a pro, many of us never will be. Treating him like a failure isn't going to help. I like to have my own opinion about things and that isn't going to change, newbie or not. When I was 17 I was doing some damn stupid shit. At least he is trying to do something product with his time.

That's a little harsh.

Maybe you're right. I'm certainly no angel, in fact, I can be a bit of an arsehole. You're probably nice, friendly people, but I am the type of person who cannot stand to see someone get so singled out. With some people it's bordering on bullying (I am not talking about you guys specifically).

Hell, I don't even know Icey personally. We haven't even exchanged a pm before. I'm just old enough to know better than to treat him like an idiot. It's not clever and it's not healthy. It's just as bad as a kid showing his dad a picture he drew and the dad yelling at him for colouring outside the lines.

Peace and love.

Sorry for the late and most likely rendered irrelevant reply, it's not meant to trash or derail the topic, even if coming to think of it, it will actually do so. Anyhow, icey has come a long way, and Khris raised a valid point about how the AGS community stands towards icey. Eventually he gets singled out, that's debatable, even though I believe so. Nobody wants to fight Icey, at least the majority, in fact the basic idea behind the criticism is to make a point from which, as long as completely understood and accepted, Icey will learn and move on to better things.

In the end of the way, this community will be right, and icey himself will even agree to that. It happened to me, and the behavioral patterns between the both of us are much similar.

Really sorry for your loss, i recently lost all my grandparents, and i can only imagine how it goes from there. My thoughts are with you.

From the manual:

In your main global script file, there are some functions which are automatically added when you create the game. These are global events, and the function is called when a particular event happens. There are also some other events which you can add if you want to.

The available event functions are:

interface_click (int interface, int button)
(Now Obsolete) Called when the player clicks on a button on a GUI which has its action set as "Run script". INTERFACE is the number of the GUI which they clicked on. BUTTON is the object number of the button within this GUI.

Well, it's to be said, since we got here. I'm quite the attention whore, also I find it to be a chore to pm everyone I think might be affected and i hate posting on facebook for stuff like that.

On the 21st of January I'll be departing for obligatory military service, for 9 months. Eventually they'll let us out and I may be or may not be close to internet access. Regardless, to whoever it may concern I'm going to be more absent than usual. And then I'll most likely take up on opportunity for work abroad.

To everyone I've met these 6 years, sorry and it's been nice. Special mentions go to: Ponch, bicilotti, Ghost, qptain_nemo, Snake, m0ds. Probably forgetting someone. Anyhow. That's that.

The code goes to the interface section, not just anywhere on the global script.
