There might still be games here: http://arj0n.agsarchives.com/ that is yet to be added to the AGSA db that are needed. Worth checking out I guess :).

Though I do agree with you Leon. In order to make this effort seem lesser like "Sisyphus playing ball with the rock" :tongue:, it'd be very, very usefull if someone would be able to update the AGSarchives storage database alongside. Especially, for the 'long lost' games section - some games people were able to recover (now & before), but files on outside servers will continue to expire, those games will disappear again and we can start all over again. (Please, don't get me wrong Peder, I know you're updating the database and I know nothing about the 'background logistics', it just seems like a Herculean task (OK, OK, enough with that Greek stuff already!! :tongue:).

You are right Tramponline, it IS a Herculean task. But like AGA mentioned, there are plans of integrations hence I'd actually like to prioritize getting the user side of the new AGSA build done first so we can start on the integration. Then I'll be able to set up a similar system to what AGA has done on the AGS site and anyone interested in helping out can start uploading games/screens where they are either missing or broken in the db.

This doesn't stop the link appearing to the left and right of the image though.  Still makes hitting the collapse button tricky.

But it does prevent you from clicking the banner when trying to click one of the menu links.

About the banner link:
Add this to #top_section:
text-align:center;

Remove this from img#smflogo:
display: block;

What would be nicer is a mobile friendly theme.

Just change margin-top under #main_menu to -15px instead of -20px..
It should sort out the menu overlapping the header.

Most AGS db games with an ID > 1284 is most likely not in the AGSA db yet..

These games have "outside" sources,
The Legend of Rovendale 1 (Download page from Russia http://narod.yandex.ru/100.xhtml?jift.narod.ru/invis/LoR1.rar) --> "Coming soon" in the AGSarchives database.

If they're not stored "internally" they might join the unavailable list at one point. Any suggestions?

This is now available over at AGSA: http://agsarchives.com/download/GameID/406/legend-of-rovendale-1.html

[edit]
I guess maybe I should ask for permissions to edit too, so I can edit directly when I update AGSA to include any games that are either set as coming soon or not yet added.

new. is where new design / feature tests are run, I believe.  The database should be the same, but it's probably better to use the main URL just to be sure.

It is indeed best to use the main URL for now :). I used the new. url by mistake Cat, sorry ;).

Thanks for the info Tramponline, I'll probably just grav the one with all the different versions from mixnmojo :).

[edit]
The mixnmojo link is actually broken :O.
So if you could upload your english version (or if you have the one with all the languages) that would be great! :D.

He personally contacted me back then to have them added to AGS Archives so I won't be deleting them from there.

When it comes to AGSA and games none will ever be permanently deleted, but if the author of a game for any reason don't want the game to be available any more, it can be disabled.

Speaking of AGSA, could you please make it so that the "A game by <name>" text links to a list of all games by that author?

Also, how can I update my games' entries on AGSA?

This will come with the next build of AGSA ;).
Then you will also be able to make an account, claim your games and start editing/adding.

I can't give a date for when I think it will be done, but I hope to get it done fairly soon!

You can't actually link directly to the file on AGSA anyway, I'd have to agree with Radiant and say the best way is to use the "download link" so you don't have to click download twice.
After all, this is one of the reasons I wanted to start AGSA in the first place, to avoid all the extra waiting/clicking that most file hosts force you to do.

There seem to be people having issues registering on the forums, all they get is a page with "An Error Has Occurred!" written on it. I can't seem to find anything wrong in the error logs so I got no idea what could be wrong..

Because I don't want to run any dns or ftp services on the dedicated one :).
Also it's not wasting money, I've got several websites not hosted on the dedicated one anyway, I'm really just changing provider for those accounts I already got outside the dedicated one.
