Beginners' Technical Questions / DiscWorld Noir notebook like GUI functions

Well, I've put a notebook GUI in my game. I was thinking when something important needs to be written in the notebook I will enable a GUI label on it, which at the start of the game will be disabled. But how can I use it, to make an interrogation like in DiscNoir? I've made a code that when you click on the notebook item the notebook gui appears.

Well, I just love those games, so wicked original so movie parodies so perfect basically my favourite is DiscNoir but the rest rock the s&* out of me too. Rincewind is just one funny game character. The first game of the series is damn cult, just look at death with the glasses an all that. What can I say, just play them even now they still look awesome.

Well, there is a thread already but since it's been dead for so long adding this there would be a violation to the forum rules.

Well, I remade the game and reduced his size from 17MB to 5Mb. It's not that it has so many changes but a bug that no one found was corrected and he sprites look better now. Men of low moral are animated.

Beginners' Technical Questions / Usermode problem

Well I want when the player selects the gun to change cursor mode to usermode1(which I call as shooting mode  since the cursor is a crosshair)
But I can't do it.
Well I used the following code:

if (player.activeinventory == igun) {
 setcursormode(usermode1)
}

But when i placed it on the repeatedly execute line the obvious happened.
Well I have the following guis (an iconbar popping and an inventory gui)
and some other that pop up after shorcuts.

Help please

When I was a kid I used to watch a manga/anime I am not sure anyway what it was and the story was in the future about a firl brown hair that had the ability to control the giant/enormous bug that existed in the planet. She also had a red speed bike if this helps. I was thinking of making it a game after watching ten millions of those episodes of course.

I was wondering why AGs can't enable an animated loading screen. I just hate that old PCX loading screen, of couse you can make an fake animated screen just to impress but nothing else.

Since I am not quite familiar with GUi's code and functions I read all the help and tried quite a lot of stuff but it doesn't work the way I want to.

I need a slider to change the Gamma.
I've made the Music Slider but I can't make this one.

Please help.
