Yeah, that was a complete surprise to me. I thouhgt, the major "enemy" is Fatman - apprentice hardly has any music in it, but then POW!

I'd like to second DarkStalkey in congratulating all the winners and nominees, and in fact everyone who's made a game this year. Let's not forget, making games is why we're all here :)

And again, DGMacphee has done a terrific job in organising the awards for another year (not to mention staying up until 5:30am to present them), so thanks are in order all round.

Finally, I'm flattered to have been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, so thankyou very much. The next version of AGS may not have the MakeMyGame feature, but I'll do my darnedest to add a MakeMyTea command.

Woo, that was fun. I dont think there was enough time for applause though. People cant type anything interesting or significant in such a short time between announcing the winner and the 2 secons of applausee :P.
Too bad many people missed their winning, but anyway, it was really fun and excited, and now I'm exhausted :P. Too bad Grr and TUM didnt win anything :)

Also, conratulations to everyone, to CJ, and thanks to DG for organising! :)

I couldn't stay up for it, but congrats to all the winners.

The results seem to be what I expected and probably pretty close to how I voted, It was good to see 5 Days get the top awards, it was by far the best game of the ones running, well done Yahtzee if you are around.

I guess former Tierra (AGDI) gave everyone a year off before cleaning up with Q4GII next year

Once again, a stellar job DGMacphee.  I still can't believe you were up at 4am doing this.  Kudos to you.

And thanks to everyone who voted for BoE!  I seriously wasn't expecting to win anything.  Joey hardly appeared in the game, and the game isn't even really "complete" per se, and yet it won for "Best Supporting Character" and "Best Story."  I am touched.  Thanks everyone.  You made my day. :-D

Joey's pretty happy too.  Check it out.

I was expecting VPET 2 to win cause both you guys were working on it.

However, I'll just say that the difference in votes between VPET 2 and Mittens Shooter was very slim.

And thank you all for coming -- It was fun.

What dissapointed me was the lifetime achievement award and it's shameless pandering to political correctness gone mad. This cheap sop to the English minority group just because they lost an empire [and many other things] is ludicrous and the PC thugs must be stopped.
