Topic: New 'By the Sword' logo

Okay, so I was told that my game's current logo looks rather plain and boring. So how does the logo in the bottom page rub you?

At first, it was just plain colors with a slightly darker colored border, green and sea green. then I added some patterns and stuff inside. How does it look? What can I do to improve/fix it? And don't just reply with "Looks great Terran! " I need constructive criticism, people!

Well, it does look good, but the conspiracy i-dot connecting with the other text bothers a little.. try moving "conspiracy" a little lower, or try another font with suitable capital letters! Also you could try to add some 3d depth to "by the sword" part, but really not much! Shading is great as it is!

Edit: Or just take the dot off! That would do the trick, it probably looks just fine without it!

It honesty looks weird to me, because of the different perspectives on the text that don't flow over at the right height, and the fact it's all green. It's not that it's bad, but it's nothing to write home about

ok, played around with the perspective and the I's dot...and I also gave it a chrome effect, thanks to advice from BOYD1981...



How does it look now?


You know, I've also been told that "By the Sword" is confusing or misleading because the game is sci-fi and has nothing to do with swords. Can anyone think of a good (non-comical) new title for my game? It doesn't have to mention conspiracies, but something to that effect, something powerful. I was toying with "Terra Firma", but I'm just not sure. Ideas?
