Hm, I thought I might have applied to this thread, but apparently not.

So...

I live in Hollywood, California.  Yes, that Hollywood.  But it's not at all a glamorous or ritzy place; I live here primarily because it's where I managed to find a cheap apartment.  (Most of the movie stars and such live further west, in the Beverly Hills area.  Hollywood itself is rather run-down and dingy.)

I live about a block or two from the Hollywood/Highland complex, where the Oscars are held.  In practice, mostly what this means to me is that last weekend traffic was really bad here.  (Traffic is also really bad, although not quite as bad, when there's something going on at the Hollywood Bowl, which is only a little farther away in roughly the opposite direction.)  The Hollywood/Highland complex is also where I catch the subway every day, so it's not terribly exotic or alluring to me.

I am not planning on staying here permanently.  I am actually considering (within a few years) moving to Vancouver.  We'll see what happens.

However, this would not be a destination for me..

I´d rather would like to stay in Ireland!!!

I´ve tried to learn the Gaelic language somehow...but it does not fit into my brains...


So..I think I stay with English and everyone should try to understand what I´m supposed to talk about, lol

So...

This is serious, I´m trying to find a job in Ireland!

I´m female, 44 years "young" and I used to work as secretary for the past 24 years..

Now I have lost my job here for some doubtful reasons and I´m trying to start something new...


And I love Ireland..can´t explain the reason...

Something ist attracting me....

Ireland all the way ,its statistically the best country in all aspects    P.s irish aka gaeilge is known in some form by most but only a few thousand can even speak it
