Thanks!! I made a schoolboy error by not figuring this out considering I have the easter eggs.

The second bowl is on the Garden Island. Look carefully around you on the first screen. You'll need this to get the water under the Skoog Forest. When you exit from there talk to the man that has now appeared outside.

What an enjoyable game! Made me feel clever, too. And now it's making me feel dumb. The former because I got through almost all of it without hints... the latter because I can't find anything like a dreamcatcher, and none of the items I have (feathers, translator, [2 easter eggs, map, cauldron, spellbook], lemon and tar) make one. How unfortunate.

You have missed an item on the Island of Gastar...

The spoiler below will tell you what it is.
It's a rope that you must combine with something you already have.
The next spoiler will tell you where to find it.

It's by the tree on the first screen when you enter this island.

Well, well, what a sneaky bit. :) I did have the nagging feeling that it was something in Gastar, but I musta passed that by 20 times and never seen it.

Finished, thanks. Very good game, all in all.

What second bowl?

Of course I'm sure you remember this clearly--it's only been, what 14 months? Anyway, no bowl to be found--on the first screen or anywhere on that island.

Oh yes it is:
The bowl is near the tree (partially hidden) on the first screen.

Yes it was. Thanks you ver much. By the way, did you/will you complete Melrin 4? I understand how real life can get in the way of plans.
