Topic: book of spells one..aimlessly wandering

Hi folks,
it might be a while since you played this one but hopefully you can help me?
I have:

wallet, watch, walkman, sword, book of spells, useful pail, branches, lyre sticks, musik potion, gold ring. I am aimlessly wandering trying to do something in the dark cave, or find another item that will get me going...any handy hints would be much appreciated.. I can't get into any of the buildings, or do anything with the lid.. I don't have a sheet of music (saw it mentioned in the hints forum)... where can I get that?

Its been a long time from I have played this game but I have some notes written down and I think they are for book of spells because the inventory items seem to be the same as what you have.

enter cave, use potion (you will inspire Mozart and you get pages) exit cave. Go south, go to forest, look at music sheet - get the bar, use the page with the book. Use the bar with the lid, enter the hole

thank you...there was one more step in there

had to rub the branches and sticks together

but I made it.... now I'm having fun with the colour riddle... but I think I'll get it in the end I have most of the stuff..

Maybe you'll help me too

when I try to use the potion in the cave, she'll say 'I'm not thirsty'. I can't get Mozart to give me the page and I can't give him the potion, or use it on him... Am I supposed to do anything else in there?

I'm not sure exactly what you have done up to where you entered cave but I will give you the notes I had written down when I played this game. Maybe you will figure it out

interact with bard - you get the lyre
use the pail with the snake - go west
go to mountain enter cave use sticks with branches
talk to old man exit cave go south
go to village - use snakepail with the well - get fish go north - go to seashore use fish with sea - get ring
talk to bird - solve riddle - you get potion
go east
go to mountain enter cave use potion you inspire mozart and you'll get pages exit cave
go south go to forest look at music sheet - get the bar
use the page with the book use bar with the lid enter the hole  (lid is a kind of cover on the ground far right of forest)

This is all the notes I have maybe you missed doing something
