Can somebody please help me on appentice!

  I've just recently spoke to the snake and i got the book and pinic blanket, but i can't figure out where to go next, like it won't let me enter the woods or there's no other room in the house i can enter or anything. If somebody has done this could you please give me some help please, thanx
