ATC - what is it?
« on: 05 May 2005, 22:52 »
Hi everybody.
I would have searched the forum but as the search is currently down I will ask here:

what is or was the ATC? It must be something where a winner is chosen. I heard that it means "Adventure Team Challenge" or something?
What exactly is it and where do I get some information about it?

The reason I ask is because someone told me my game is an "ATC Winner" ... well I'd really like to know which other games where in the competition with me  :D

Thanks in advance,
Stefan

If your game was in the ATC, you'd know about it.

ATC is the AGS Team Challenge -- see this thread for details:

Ah, I see, thanks for the explanation CJ.

I would have been really surprised if my game would've won any competition.

I'd like to ask you, if you'd agree with publishing your currently released game - winner of the ATC - on ...
That was part of a PM I recieved from someone who said he is the editor of the freeware section of a computer magazine.
Well ... something must have got mixed up.

Anyway, thanks again!

Hiya Magician... Hmmm, yes, perhaps that person who contacted you somehow got things mixed up? If he was referring to "winner of the ATC" perhaps he may have been referring to our "Great Stroke Off" adventure game which was a winner of the last ATC.
Well, either way, you got me curious now.. do you think you can forward a copy of that PM message you got to me? I'd be interested to see it.  ;)
Thankee.
Conan: "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women!"
Mongol General: "That is good."

Hello,

I'm an editor of a freeware section in a czech paper magazine about computer games, Level. Level is the best-selling gaming mag in the Czech republic, you can find more info about it at www.Level.cz. I'd like to ask you, if you'd agree with publishing your currently released game - winner of the ATC - on our cover CD and/or DVD in the May issue of Level. Is it possible?
P.S.: If you want a copy of the issue, just submit an adress for we could send it to you...

Hey, I know about the Level magazine. It's also published in Turkey and my favourite game mag.( www.level.com.tr )
As I know, both of them are depended to an international media group, VogelBurda Communications.

Well, it would be really cool if The Great Stroke Off was published with Level. :)
