I've finally finished my first real game:

SILENT KNIGHT - CHAPTER 1 : The Mediocre Escape

This is my first game except for my OneRoomAdventure "The Bar".
The game takes place in my very own fantasy world in the kingdom of Calithulhu.
You control a Knight from the kingdom of Carté Dor who recieves a death sentence in Calithulhu and the story unfolds from here...
Sounds stupid? Well I guess it is...

12 rooms (incl. intro/outro)
Lots of bad music
16 bit colour
640/480 pixels
And it has a modified Monkey Island interface

I just downloaded. It's not bad, but you left the debug mode on!

The puzzles seem pretty hard, I didn't manage to break out yet.

But it's a good game, I like it.

Nice game! I'm stuck, though:

Gave porn to guards in the lower floor. Entered the Orc's cell, and it seems i can steal a plate with spoon (to dig the floor in the locker room) with the shower pipe + magnet, but the Orc doesn't let me. How to throw the water filled condom on him? Is there anything I need to do first?

It was a pixel problem. Clicked the right spot and: Done!

Finished the game. It's a really nice one.
I am now waiting anxiously for the 2nd chapter!

Just got a crash,

Global script 882
ERROR:SetActiveInventory: player doesn't have any of that inventory.

Was trying to use the Bible from the GUI, and again when trying to use the porn.

You say you get it from using the book and the porn?
In what room did it happen? and when?
The script looks fine to me, but then again i am not the greatest scripter in the world!

Ps. I hope the puzzles aren't too hard. It seems a lot of people are having a hard time in the tips and hint thread...

Your puzzles are not too bad, some are easy, others take a little more time and concentration.

I got stuck a few times, but there is always someone on the hints forum to help. 

I am stuck and left a message on the hints forum. I'm close to the boat with the crate now, but stuckkkkk.

The first time I got that error message I was getting close to the closet or coming out of it.   I got it a second time but did not even have time to react.  I just got kicked out of the game and back to my I.Explorer where I downloaded the game.  But I went back into winsetup, save and run, and was back at the beginning of the game. Had to wait for intro and then went to my last saved game.

If you make any correction or updates, is it possible not to have to go through the whole intro everytime we go back to the game.  If it is possible, I don't know.

I haven't downloaded the game yet, but realized that in the first screenshot stands "Ken sent me" written on the wall.
That made me wonder, do you know this video ?
Or do just meant the entrance code in Larry 1? The name of the video is by the way the only link to LSL....

Fun fun game, He-Man!

I thought the puzzles were perfect difficulty level and well thought out. Made me laugh too 

Clicking on the hanging hose and the crate was rather frustrating for a few minutes though, ah well. I'm sure you're aware of what I mean. Can't complain when it's a free adventure game after all hehe.

Just finished it.  Good game.  Waiting for #2. 

Puzzle good, not too hard but have to think about it or ask for help.

First of all thanks for all the nice crits! I'm very happy and overwhelmed (not sure about the spelling) that so many people enjoys the game.
The second chapter is in the thinking progress right now! When I get futher I'll post in the Games in Production forum!

Damn, I still can't find this bug myself. I guess I'll just have to test the game untill it shows up...
BTW You can skip the intro by pressing ESC!

Andy (and others) - I've tried to remove the bug on the crate and the hose, but somehow AGS won't let me. This one is also mentioned in the READ ME file. if you don't get an answer from interacting with an object then it's a bug, and you should try clicking elsewhere on the object until you get an answer!

Ozzie - I didn't see that video I was just refering to LSL. I'll watch it when I get home!

I've gotten that same bug that everyone else is getting about 6 times on different objects.

Undoubtedly a superior quality game. The chars and setting are very funny, and well drawn, the animations are good. The sounds are not, unfortunately.
But the story and puzzles are okay, even original in same cases.

One thing I was disappointed by, are the bugs. Here's a list:

-When you read the Bible (and probably also do something else) outside the prison window, the char is displayed in front of that, flying in the air, and with his head out of the upper part of the screen.

-If you look the guard after putting his head into the WC, he raises up, saying something, and then dives his head again into that shit. Very funny bug, though.

-In the intro, in the book you wrote "Silnt Knight" instead of "Silent Knight".

-When looking outside the prison window, looking the water, it says: "I can't believe I'll be walking in that" or something similar. But at that point of the game, who knows that you're going to walk in the sewers?

-The water from the sewers doesn't fall down, it reaches the end of the tunnel and then stops. You should add a waterfall.

- You use the

shower pole on the magnet, to make it longer, but when you use it on the dish, the animation shows that the char doesn't even put the tool through the bars. Then he could have simply used the magnet alone.

-The bug that causes some interaction to fail, is very annoying, and very weird, too. You must absolutely try to fix it.

-When you use the key on the door n.102, the char says, more or less "It's not the right key, anyway, the door is already unlocked". But that's not true! That door is not and never will be unlocked!

I think this is all. Hope I've been useful.

Actually, you can, Camouflage. But there's a bug that sometimes doesn't allow some interactions. Just try again and again, clicking in different parts of the object.
