Oh my! This looks really nice so far.
Nice attention to the detail on your backgrounds.  Story idea seems like it could be interesting too.  If this game has similar quality and effort that you put into your "StarGate" game, then it should be great.  Keep up da good work!
Conan: "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women!"
Mongol General: "That is good."

That looks amazing!
However, I have two concerns:
1. Why not original music? Of course, Vangelis is magnifficent, but I still think that in each and every game original music is better.
2. What kind of ruined Stargate adventure was the poor English(no offence meant)... I hope you'll get a dialogue adviser this time.
Good luck with the project!

I don't know, as I am not selling it, i think i can use other music, as i don't know much about composing. And as i am listening to current songs, i can picture a scenery in my head. And i can asses how good it will look in the game. There are a lot of song to choose from and they are very good for the adventure games.
I will try to fix the english before officialy release it .

great! those backgrounds really look awesome! i hate you even more now, since it's seems you're backgrounds just get better and better  ;), and they also seem really consistent in this game! remember, you said end of 2006! no later!  ;D otherwise bad things are going to happen.

Wow, I'm sure this is gonna be another great game! I enjoyed Stargate Adventure very much.

So, you're inspiring yourself by The Dig's interface, huh? I think that's a great idea, btw. I've never actually played it, just played the demo recently, and I realized that you've inspired yourself by this game when making Stargate adventure...

When O'Neal says he's going to light the torch, Samantha tells him to be careful... there is a VERY similar scene in The Dig (pulling a cable off the alien ship)... is this an intentional reference? It struck me immediately that it's a reference, but now I'm not so sure....

Anyway, I'll be really looking forward to playing this, just be sure to have a native english speaker proofread it, it will make a huge difference, beleive me!

Yes, i will try to get someone to "translate" the game.

Hmm, about that "be carefull" stuff, I must say that I am not sure, it could be subliminal message from the Dig :) so i used it whith out even know it.

Yes, I guess i was inspired by the Dig in many thing, like those red/orange clouds i used in my backgrounds and interface... I try to be as close as i could be to the "graphics" style, but i am still far away, as the Dig has the most beautifull scenery in 320x200 resolution, maybe some day i will get close. Still I wonder how did they draw those backgrounds and character animations.. hmm.-.

Since your screenshots do always remind me of The Dig, you can't be THAT far away from it. At least they have a similar atmosphere. And The Infinity String looks awesome already. Can't wait to play it.

Ahhhhhhh, I remember this! That excellent GUI! I was waiting to hear about this game. Looks fantastic!

I have one little question which may be the result of my own stupidity but... you said he got his name from his mother and his father was American. His last name seems Russian to me, shouldn't his last name be American? Sorry, I bet it -is- an American name... if so, please disregard my comment.

Well, actually, i am not completely sure. As far as i have searched the web i found that Elnar is American. But I am not very sure, because i live in Europe :). Maybe some native american could confirm that. ?

Elnar sounds a bit Irish to me :)

I want to ask about the name. The Infinity String: Truth Behind the Immortality sounds funny because:

(a) When talking about a certain truth, the article should be included. So it would be 'The Truth Behind...

(b) The same thing, but backwards, with 'Immortality'. Unless you're talking about a certain immortality of a certain thing, it should be immaterial and be written without the article. So it would be '...Behind Immortality.

And the complete would be The Infinity String: The Truth Behind Immortality.

The name is misleading. Is it intentional or what? Truth should have an article in any logical sense, but Immortality doesn't necessarily need to be immaterial, if it corresponds to something specific. Sorry to bring ants to your picnic :D, but it's something that's been bothering me.

And on-topic, the game looks awesome, especially the color scheme. Especially looks to have a great atmosphere and it better have a story that lives up to the awesome graphics :D.
