That's right, we're probably back in production... he somehow managed to convince me to try and give it a go again...  ;)

Anyway, at the moment, we're just scanning around for general interest again. If you PM either of us, though, be sure to be put on a list and PM'ed when we start production again.

I need some people for an Unstereotypical project (well, my project).
If you can do
- backgrounds (several BGs in 220x175 resolution - that's correct resolution) - not ones of really outstanding quality, just pleasing the eye would be enough (tip: MSPaint == EVIL)
- music (about three ambient'ish tunes, total of ~5 min long) - yet again, I could do that myself, but it would be awful, and you'll regret that for the rest of your lives
- proofreading (not too soon, and I'll probably write again about it) - game already has a lot of text, and will have even more, so proofreading IS important
and want to participate in an opensource game - well, go on, pm me, email me, bug me, stake me, torture me, just get my attention :).
You'll get a place in credits, everlasting fame and lots of virgin girls(sorry, currently out of those).

I have finished my very first comedy adventure script, and I am in need of a really good artistic talent to help me create this very humorous game.

Requirements include...

The ability to create simple yet cartoonish Lucasart's style sprites for a 320 by 240 game.

The ability to retain good patience while creating complex animations for many interesting characters.

No qualms about aiding a game that spoofs touchy subjects.

A REALLY good sense of humor.

This is an unpaid job, and only for those with a LOT of spare time on their hands. The game itself is freeware.

You may contact me by PM or at my email at littlejim@grundyec.net
You must also provide an example of your work.

The project itself is secret for now except to those who apply.

Hi! I'm the lead music designer for The Trinity. I've felt the need for some ambient style tracks- however, I'm not proficient at that kind of thing, I'm better at sequencing 'themes'. If you'd be interested in collaborating with me to do some ambient music tracks (in midi), that would be greatly appreciated. So check out the game's GiP thread, if you'd like to help, PM me and I'll see what I can do.

Dead End Tokyo by Orient Media Studios team required!
Hello.
We are developing games in the adventure genre with a point and click interface. The games will contain interesting and intriguing stories set in the wondrous lands of Asia.
Our current project is called “Dead-End Tokyo.” Our volunteer group, Orient Media Studios, wants fans to enjoy our games for free. At the same time we want to provide a quality product that teaches about the culture and ways of life in Asia.
We want the story to be both thrilling as well as culturally accurate the game is to focus more on a husband and father’s struggle to save his loved ones; rather then in face action.
This game is also meant to touch people’s hearts as well.
We would greatly appreciate your assistance with this project.
Here is the basic plot to draw from

The main character is a young police detective with the Tokyo police. One day he is told to investigate a drug related murder, but upon doing so he uncovers information that leads him to believe that the police department, and perhaps the government itself, is involved in a huge drug ring all throughout Asia. As he gets closer to the truth however, he comes home one evening to find his house in ruins and his family missing. A note is left that says: "If you ever want to see your family again, stop your investigation or you will never see your family again. Their blood will be on your hands. They will die a slow painful death. You have 36 hours!"
Thanks again if you are interested please contact me: brandentobin@shaw.ca or by private message
I looking forward to your response I am including the story design doc download it at: http://www.sendspace.com/file/x80jv3

I will wait for you in heaven

Hi!
I'm a graphic artist (2D /sketching, but I also do 3D)

I am looking for team members, or a group who want to work on an adventure game project.

I've posted here a project which i've originally worked on to develop my skills on flash. I ended up thinking that I should develop the ideas i had in this project into a playable adventure game. I don't know if flash will be a good tool for this though, I'm not experinced in this.

you can take a look at the demo here:

http://www.sfu.ca/~malsaati/JEDDAH_DEMO.swf

The orignal storyline has been removed from this demo until i develop them into something better.

Please don't mind the errors and notes distributed all over it. It's just a demo version. But the main idea is that you can check out the background artwork in it. The quality is reduced for file size purposes.

Currently the demo only allows you to explore. Click whenever the mouse is highlighted.

If you are interested in working as a team, or already have a project where you can use a background artist like me, contact me on mxs_design@yahoo.com

Thanks! :)

Anyone recall Tomb of the Moon from an odd one and a half years back?

I've been toying around with the idea for a game related to the story since I won the OROW, but as my artist has been on holiday for the past year I'm putting up this ad in hopes of some day completing the game.

So, I'm looking for a teammate to produce a medium-lenght game related to the story of Tomb of the Moon. I can and wish to cover scripting, story design and music, so I'm primarily looking for an artist for the whole lot: backgrounds, interface graphics, characters, objects, everything. An idea person to work with would be someone who could also provide me with feedback on about everything about the game I show to them, proofreading and testing, providing new ideas, thinking up puzzles with me, etc. And thus the game would eventually be a product of our co-operation, not just someone drawing and me doing the rest. The project's not in a hurry, but I wish to finish it some day. This asks for someone with motivation to stay with the project for a long time, if neccessary. I'm mainly looking for one person, but don't deny having more people on the team as it develops.

For style reference, try Tomb of the Moon. In my opinion it pretty much explains the main idea here. PM or email me if you're interested.
I used to make games but then I took an IRC in the knee.

<Calin> Ishmael looks awesome all the time

Hello,

I'm looking for a fairly experienced writer for the development of a shorter project.

If you have a script or idea that doesn't deal with a post apocalyptic dystopia, or some similar topic, then don't hesitate to contact me.

(I deal with graphics and music, and have decent experience in programming (including AGS scripting). There are examples lying around on the forums, for more, please contact me)

Edit: Seems like I could've been a bit clearer; while I have a couple of ideas, I'm also interested in working on original scripts, of shorter length.

Here's yet another call for help.

Situation as follows: I have readymade base sprites, but I lack the skill to make them walk even remotely naturally. If anyone with skills in sprite animation is interested in helping out, I am in need of two or three different walk cycles.

Contact me if you have any interest in helping out!
