Ok so i started my first project and i wanted a logo for ourself(coz there is two of us)
and i got this:

I think that the second logo seems scruffy, try to keep the allignment the same with the words, keep the font the same, and also try to expand the logo so that the words fit in the box.

If you really want to keep the name FireStorm, make the logo on a lighter or a matchbook.
Maybe turn the i in Fire into a lighter. At the moment you have just letters, which look pretty random to me.

Relax, hombre, I didn't replace your logo, that's what happens every time you try to publish bmp's here. Make your pictures .jpg's or even better .png's and it will be aaaall right.

It's all in the rules, you know, that sticky thread you never clicked on.

That looks bit unfinished. I think the "typography" is off with all the random letters.
And there is no sense in leaving the letters "ment" to the red box in the word "entertainment", at least if they are not in a similar font or something.
I think you should really use text type tool rather than just line tool.
But, its a good start.

This might sound a bit rash, but I think only thing you got right is "entertain"-part. I actually like that part. Readibility on "storm" is not very good and since center of R is more to the left than the center of O it could be mistaken as "strom". What I would suggest is keep the "entertain"-part, scrap the read box with "ment" and add it to "entertain" with the same style. Tidy up the letter's a bit (there are some spikes there). And for the upper part (FireStorm) come up with something new. Browse some free font sites and see if there's something you like and use them for the upperpart...

The "entertain" bit is good, carry it on to continue the word properly.

And make something out of the "fire storm" bit, as it isn't particularly striking.

Just another thought for ya if you wanted an animated one there is a program for free on the net which i used for my Avator which would alow afire element to be added picture this

Black screen and then the fire sweeps in on a central or lower line (maybe at the top and bottom of the screen then the fire would engulf the screen quickly to reveal the logo

Just a thought try storyboarding some ideas remember the logo is like portraying what you guys are about if its a simple game go simple but professional to show that you mean it show em yer GRRRRR face

I tried to make an animation but i failed misarebly
But feel free to use the logo but please like you so nicely said a credit would be nice
if you want the img as anything other than a PNG please ask so i can give you the requested file type (so you dont loose img quality )

Another helpful adress might be http://cooltext.com/, WTCQ. A rather simplistic online service, but it should be worth a look, if only for the really vast amount of quality, free fonts they offer.

A couple of interesting articles on logo design can be found on
http://blambot.com/, another site I frequently link to. And they never pay me.
