yeh, i'd say it is a game worth getting, but be forewarned there is little original content apart from characters and vehicles, there are only a handful of new courses as most are taken from previous mario kart incarnations.
and as a sidenote, i actually really liked double dash and think it's better than wii, but wii is still a really fun game, it's just the lack of original tracks or even some of the real classics from the previous games do kinda make it seem a little half-arsed to me. and you're forced to watch the credits each time to finish a grand prix :/
