All I said was that the songs chosen don't use her voice type particularly effectively.

You wouldn't get Pavarotti to sing a grindcore track... although that might actually be awesome.

Calin, I think you may have misunderstood Dan. Unless I missed it while going back through the posts, nobody has accused you of saying her voice was bad or she shouldn't be in the band... as far as I can tell, you didn't... so I don't understand why you would say that.

I understood Dan's reply to your comment as only defending his opinion of her voice with the songs we chose. He thinks they were perfectly fine for her voice and you think they don't work well for her type of voice. I found nothing wrong with your opinion. Nobody was upset with you. Hopefully Dan can back me up on this.

Given the old school roots of AGS, I would say that's a must!  
(In fact, I'm holding out hope for an 8-track!)

What's not to love about 8-tracks? No fast forwarding. No rewinding. No sir, you'll listen to whatever song is ready to play and you'll just have to wait until your favorite song comes around again. 8-tracks taught us the value of perseverance. Unlike today's youth and their iBerry's and the MyFace and the googles and such. Darn kids. Getting to listen to their favorite songs whenever they want... grumble grumble...

I'm gonna be getting some nice recording equipment soonish with my fancy NASA money; drum mics, audio interface stuffs, the like. So once I procure that junk, I'd be interested in doing some of the drumming if youse guys were interested in letting me. I don't get back to my kit until mid-August, but if you can keep the band from breaking up until then, I could contribute in the area of percussive radness.
