Frodo: Thanks. I tried to make the quests more complicated this time around. Also, Billy had to become a man sooner or later. Luckily, he had a General Store nearby!

Dual: I liked writing dialog for Postmaster Colonel Cole. In his on way, he's a lot like Prick. I'd love to know what his interior monologue sounds like. (Did you ask him about the tattoos?)

Finished it. Loved it.

To be honest, I never thought any scene from a Barn Runner game would ever manage to surpass the naked bigwheel dream sequence, but I'm pretty sure the whole thing with the portrait for the cow is my new most favourite Barn Runner thing ever.

I actually quite liked the departure from the constant narration, I felt there was just enough of it in the game to satisfy my love of it, and then a nice variety of other jokes. When I say "Nice" I mean my gosh, did some of these make me laugh/cringe/go "ooohhhhhhh". Loved seeing Mailbot in action too, I had forgotten that he salutes all the time

Oh yeah, and the ranch flavoured cigarettes puzzle is probably my favourite Barn Runner puzzle to date, loved that one!

Congrats, definitely looking forward to the next episode!

Edit: Three things I forgot:

For some reason I found the scene where Prick wakes up after you know what to make him seem more human than comedic. Maybe it's because we've all been in that situation and can relate to it, right guys? Guys?

Also, I loved how you used the truck stop to cram in as many truck related pop culture references as humanly possible, particularly when I went out the back and straight away recognized the truck from my most favourite adventure game ever!

Finally, man this was a solid length game! You weren't kidding about it being the longest Barn Runner game ever. Definitely a good length adventure this time around

Glad you liked it. And thanks for loaning out Mailbot for a cameo.

Regarding the truck stop, there were actually several more I cut out. The rear parking lot around the dumpster was originally much bigger. I had the trucks from Duel, Convoy, Arc II, and Maximum Overdrive back there (plus loads and loads more truck stop orphans -- it was a real "lord of the flies" sort of place). And the Spring Break Wet T-Shirt Blast arcade game still worked too.

Lastly, I'm glad you think I topped the naked big wheel scene.

I like Cole a lot. I wish I'd found a way to bring him into the series earlier than this just so I would have had more opportunities to write dialog for his crazy rants.

I was sure I'd be the only one who 'got' the Damnation Alley roadster/radioactive roaches bit. That movie is on my 'guilty pleasures' list of awesomely bad awesome sci-fi. Of course there was also the legendary Porkchop Express, from yet another awesomely bad awesome comedy. Little references like these warm my otherwise cold-and-disillusioned-with-modern-film heart.

That's always a possibility. But there are only a few Barn Runner games left at this point, so it might be tricky to find a place to shoehorn him in. We'll see. 8)
