Last Flight of the Starship Hindenburg
« on: 24 Jul 2011, 19:40 »
I am stuck, thus I need hints, I know it's brand new but maybe author or somebody who got further will help, help with any of these will be appreciated:

I got the mouse trap and loaded it up with cheese, but where do I need to use it, I think I'll need the mouse for the cat in the casino...or something
(these next hidden questions don't have any real spoilers I think, but still i put them up just to be polite)
In the casino:
The cat in the casino keeps making me lose my bet, and I think this is the only way I can get some starbucks
Engine room
I want that key, do I even need it yet?
Medical bay
where can I find the code for the medicine locker, I hope it's not somethign the doctor said cause he's in drunken sleep
In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

trap
go back to your room and put it on the floor, right in front of the mouse hole ("dirty, cool floor")

For the rest: I just started the game and am a bit behind you :-)

Talk to him again - he will tell you  ;)

What am I supposed to do to get my card-number? I tried it with the number
from the computer-list but failed   : - \

Ah, thanks.

Aah, well I got upgraded right away (by accident actually so I didn't even think of visiting the lower deck
(there seems to be "bug" thing where now I actually got from 1st to 3rd (then somehow to 1st again) and now to 2nd class)

Talk to him again - he will tell you  ;)
The thing is I've tried
the number 206 (in roman numerals CCVI)
but it doesn't work  ???

@anian:
Did you
use the shift-button, when typing the big letters?

Hopefully there isn't a bug in the upgrading-scene, because I have been told to be upgraded, but got no new card and the old one didn't change
after I gave them the "special soup"
and I have no save-game before that point to repeat it :P

Well there's now 3 way to get upgraded, and you need the 2nd class room for at least one item, I think I didn't find anything in the 3rd class, you can try 2nd deck for all doors then upgrade again by
getting the ring from the pool
and then get another card.

Thank you - I already gave up and quit.

After your post I tried again and believe it or not (I tried already all doors with my "old" card before quitting, but no chance)
This time I simply went through the (closed!) door - so there is a bug for sure, but I can go on a bit now  ;D

Edit: Same thing on the third floor  ::)
(but I found something there)  ;)

You should have another look in ...
... the fridge, but very thoroughly.

Door clipping errors!  How embarrassing.

My sincere apologies for any hardships faced.

To get from your second class suite to your first class suite, you must
first gain, then remit your Star Alliance rewards points

I just did a check and you should receive the card if handled correctly.  I'll need more information to see where your experience went off-the-rails.

I didn't get a new card - sorry.

I'm off to work now, but when I am back home,
I'll sent you a PM about how it happened and what I did in detail

EDIT:
          PM is on it's way!

I'm kinda stuck with no real clue as to what to do next.

I have the "Tiny Key", and know the password.
I've mended my spacesuit at the tailor.
i have a shitload of inventory items, some are unused, some are probably duplicates (stuff i've used and lost and then picked up again.)

Still havn't found a use for the Detergent, the magazine, or the colacan.
Can't figure out how to get to the bridge.
Can't figure out how to get into the locked door beside the robots.

so a small hint on where to go next would be nice  ;D

No problem.  Spoilers scale in subtlety below.

The AI is preventing you from getting to the bridge.  You must repair the AI first before getting to the bridge.
The AI mainframe is located on the Engineering floor.
Looks like you have to go for a spacewalk.
The detergent, magazine and cola-can have no use.

I am having trouble figuring out how to win the game in the casino.  There is also a bug in the game that causes the game to crash when you try to use the credit at the casino that you get from turning in the ring from the pool.

Thanks,
Michael

Hm.  Thanks for pointing out that issue.  I'm going to take a wild leap here and guess that you
were only able to enter the casino because you wore the tuxedo you got from the receipt from the first class suite that you got into because of a door clipping issue, rather than actually receiving the first class suite key?
If that is true, that explains the error.  If not, I'd be grateful if you could PM me some details about what, specifically, you mean by
try to use the credit at the casino
.

Oh, and regarding how to win the game.  Spoilers scale in subtlety below.

You need to rig the game.
You need to kill the cat.
You need to use pentobarbital to kill the cat.
You need to entice the cat to eat the pentobarbital.
Go to the doctor.  Talk to him until he falls asleep.  Listen to what he murmurs in his sleep.  Take his sick bay card.  Unlock the sick bay card.  Go to the medicine cabinet.  Open it using combination CCVI.  Take the drugs.  Go to the kitchen.  Open the fridge.  Take the tuna.  Combine the drugs with the tuna.  Administer to the cat.

Yes, you are right I did use the door clipping error to get into the two doors. Thanks for your help with the casino.

I need a hint about how to get the tiny key.

Thanks,
Michael
Here's the hint in stages, each one offers more obvious solution:
there's a book in the library that might offer some hint
it's a tiny metal key
you need a magnet to get it, you have info on what you need in the physics book you can get in the library
