...but you'd have to think someone would have recognized it by now.

Or at least had a stab in the dark! Either the popularity of this thread is waning, or I'm one of only a handful of people to have seen this particular movie...which, given it's quality, is quite possible.

Having said that...

Faust?

Correct! Faust: Love of the Damned. Brian Yuzna's Fantastic Factory made a bunch of Spanish-funded genre films in the early to mid 2000s, all of which have the unique distinction of being interesting without actually being good. Score!

LimpingFish that was an awesome movie choice! the soundtrack is packed with greatness as well. the 3rd screenie was the most obvious for me.

Is that an eyeball in a mason jar on a picnic table?  That's so cliché it's almost the lens flare of cinema.  Thus it is impossible to guess which of the thousands of movies that use this story telling device the particular movie you are thinking of is: you'll have to be more specific.

Alrighty then :)
How about pulling a tooth out of a head in a sack?

At a guess,  because of the gore/colourisation/tattoo, is it that Neil Marshall Mad Max/Escape From NY mash-up, um...Doomsday?

If not, that head looks a bit like Mark Strong..!

Don't let this die.

Absolutely. How about a hint or two, AnasAbdin? Perhaps another shot? :)

If you're a fan of horror movies, this one shouldn't be too hard. Made by a well-known cult director.

The Beyond. Also known as L'aldilà . Also known as Seven Doors of Death.

I gave away a copy of this movie (and the rest of Fulci's Gates of Hell trilogy) as a quiz prize at Mittens!

Judging from the bottle, I'd say it's something French.  But then, don't they use metric clocks over there?  :-\

Edit: Nevermind, I googled the bottle label and figured it out.  HINT: It's not French! ;)
