That is John Hurt? He's supposedly about 45/46 in that film, but already looking late fifties. Didn't that guy ever look young?

The youngest I'd seen him was in "A Man For All Seasons" made in 1966 and he still had on oldish quality to him.

Darth Mandarb

I know, and rather liked, that movie GG!

It's been ages since I saw it though...

However, since I just "hosted" the last one, I shall refrain from answering and let somebody else have it!

GarageGothic

Nobody recognizes the famous actor? Let's try another shot:

Mandle

The dude in the picture looks pretty stocky and seems to be wearing a long trench-coat...

Tom Hanks in "Road To Perdition"?

Kumpel

Mandle that car beside him is clearly not 1930s ^^

It looks more like some horror movie/serial killer thriller...

Danvzare

Wait a minute... serial killer, picture of a man in what appear to be in a dress.

Is it one of the many Psycho films?
Psycho?
Psycho II?
Psycho III?
Psycho (remake)?
Bates Motel?
Psycho IV: The Beginning?

Oh! Is it Raising Cain? If so then that's John Lithgow.

Or, Dressed To Kill, in which case it's Michael Caine.

/shameless piggybacking

GarageGothic

Nope, it's not about serial killers. But let's take a look at the two other stars in the film:

GarageGothic

Guesses stopped after the last image. Maybe a hint is in order. The genre of the film is documentary - more or less.

Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Sex But Were Afraid To Ask?

Let's pull back the curtain and make it really easy (hopefully):

Haggis

Orson Welles in the Original Hipster?

Of course, no role he played will ever be as accomplished as that of Unicron in the Original Transformers the Movie.

Jack

Is that Orson Welles or Mark Hamill? It's confusing these days.

The Man Who Saw Tomorrow?

Quintaros

F is for Fake?

Haha.  I can see it.

GarageGothic

Indeed. "F for Fake" it is. One of Orson's minor achievements but still a god damn great documentary. Here's the trailer, but the whole thing can be watched on YouTube if one is inclined. I totally recommend it.
