Armageddon

So, is there a new date? ???

Ponch

The AGS Bake Sale is happening January 15th.

If any bakers have a game they're still working on, please get it in by the end of this weekend. Thanks.  :)

Ponch

AGS Community,

Please ignore the previous post. Forces beyond our control* have forced us to bump the Bake Sale to January 20th. I apologize for the delay and I hope you'll all bear with us for a few more days while we get things together behind the scenes.  ::)

The later date works for me! Means I only have to starve for a week after splurging the last of my salary on the Bake Sale ;)

Please ignore the previous post.

That IS a bit tricky, what with the psycho flashing disco cow right next to it  ;D

Icey

That should give me enough time to add a bit more to my demo.

Also Ghost is the picture almost finished cause I was planning to make a menu intro video and use it in there. :-\

Ghost

Picture is well underway. We plan on distributing it this weekend.

Ponch

And the baking is finished!  :D

Here are the games that will be featured in the first AGS Bake Sale:

That's quite an impressive list for our first effort. Our thanks go out to each and every baker, both those who turned in a game and those who weren't able to make the deadline for one reason or another. We hope the games that weren't finished in time will still see the light of day. They were all very cool ideas and they surely would have made for some good gaming fun.

The bake sale happens in less than ten days. We hope the AGS Community will turn out to support us with fistfuls of money.  ;)

Thanks for all the kind words and well-wishes, guys. You've proved once again that this is one of the best little corners of the interwebs.  :D

ThreeOhFour

So exciting!  :D

It's amazing how many games our bakers managed to measure, mix, rise and bake for the sale! It's so cool to be a part of this, and I am totally pumped for the sale to begin!

Frodo

Big congrats to all the bakers.  You all did AMAZING jobs.   ;D

Only 8 days to go.  Can't wait to buy my copy.   :D

miguel

Extrementally exitingenious! Unbelievablissfully resultimate! It's really going to happen!

And word's out on the street again: http://indiegames.com/2012/01/upcoming_ags_bake_sale_looks_l.html
And they actually said "Full Of Win", and apparently have some outdated info.  ;)

cat

Yeah, completely outdated, they still talk about Blue Lobe Inc and set the date to January 15th.

Btw, what does "Full of win" mean?

Kastchey

Internet and gaming slang. "Full of win" means victorious, high quality or successful. A rather poor choice of words, it makes the title sound as if the text was directed to teenage internauts, hence the comments under the article.

miguel

Still, better than 'Full of Wind', that would make our bakers look bad... :=

Oh noes! My secret is out!  :=

Personally, nothing I've ever done has been described as "full of win", so I'll happily take the compliment. As far as I'm concerned, the bakers and the bake sale are all full of win.  :D

I can has cheezeburger now?
