@Ponch - That's amazing :o

Have there been any super-donors?  Has Anyone Tweeted @Notch, for example.
Even if he doesn't buy it himself, he could retweet to his half a million followers :-)

I think the website should display something like "yesterday's best donation was $25" or whatever the amount is. It might encourage people :)

Stupot: We've had someone give fifty dollars. Another person gave seventy-five. But 75% of the donations are under five bucks. Still, I've got no complaints. It's really adding up.  :)

Selmiak: I've sent a PM to Cat. Sorry your game crashed. We'll see if we can get to the bottom of this.  :-\

Radiant: We're looking into putting some sort of stats page on the site, that way people can see how much has been collected and that sort of thing.

Hooray! I would really love to know how much we have raised so far. I gave $15 which I think was around £10.50. I've also been bugging all of my friends to buy it.

So far I've played Falling Skyward and The Rail, they're both awesome! Well done Ben and James :D

I've been saving up some Bake Sale related links:

That last one is an interview with me over at Cubed Gamers (by Will who attended Adventure X!) He also discusses the rise of indie games.

Thanks for all of the support everyone! I just want to say to EVERYONE here at AGS, a big thank you for pledging donations and for the moral support to the Bake Sale. This has got to be one of the best communities on the net! Now let's keep giving to Charity!!!

Yay  ;D

Glad people are enjoying The Rail, I've gotten some messages about it already!

I'm going around the internet with my sockpuppets touting the Bake Sale wherever I can!

Ponch

I like this little blurb because I think the modified Child's Play logo she used is a clever spin on our bake sale theme:

I got it on Bluesnews.com (albeit a small mention, but it IS there!)

My teeth are well and truly sunk :) So far i've finished 9 Months In, Ben Chandler PI and Falling Skywards. Fantastic games, i loved the voice acting and personalities in Ben Chandler PI! Charming characters in all the games i have played.

9 Months In had a very interesting story, i'm not sure i quite followed the ending, my theory seems a little whacky - i'll have to go for the 100 point ending! The voice acting went down a treat, made the multiple story elements a little less overwhelming.

Falling Skywards was the third game i've completed from Ben this week, arguably the best! The hints toward the progression that happens at the end are subtle but poignant, very 304. I really liked the pacing of the puzzles, the nature of the items made the backstory feel like something big. please continue this one Ben!

...and on that note! Ben Chandler PI, which really hit the retro nail on the head. The characters were genuinely funny, the voice acting was of a very high standard and those animations! I love how Grundislav animates his sprites, it feels very Monkey Island and i think i spotted a few hints at that. The song was brilliant, i played with friends and it instantly got their attention. Lots of 'LOLZ'* were had.

Great games so far. I'll update once they're all conquered!

*lol - In it's primitive, 'laugh out loud' state.

That Ben Chandler song has been stuck in my head since yesterday. I think it may lodged in there forever.

Also, we've raised another 350 dollars since lunchtime.  :D

Is there any end date? I think I will be able to donate on Wednesday.  :-\

The bake sale runs all the way through the end of February. Plenty of time.  :)

I Tweeted Notch about it, just in case.  He might not even see my message, but if he does, and decides to retweet, that's a guaranteed couple of purchases or more :)  If anyone else fancies Tweeting him, too, he'd be more likely to take notice it.

Cool. Thanks, Stupot +++. I award you two extra plus signs for awesomeness.  8)

Bwahahaha.  I always said, if I don't get Waltzing Matilda stuck in people's heads after playing my game, I've failed.  Clearly I have not failed!

Glad to see we're doing so well!

@Spectreincarnate Maybe you understand, but you won't know for sure, now, would you?
Though I think you do understand, and if you do then it's indeed a wonderful example of irony...
Well... I dunno. Now, I am second guessing myself.. gah! lol
