Here's how you get the key

Hint 1

You need to use the hook on the phone cord, to make a fishing line

Hint 2

You need to use the phone cord with hook(fishing line) to get the key in the bathroom, that will open Jimmy's door

Hint 3

now you get the pliers from Jimmy's room and use them on the car hood to get the cables

and just in case you don't have the ....

You can get the hook by using the meat on the crab trap

*if anyone would like a walkthrough/ I'll be glad to give it to them to make life a bit easier*

As the alien (2nd time), I have the...

hairspray, meat from the bone, hanger, lens, and cable from telephone. I have moved the battery to the treehouse. Since I have a power source, cable, and antenna (hanger), how come I still can't use the radio?

When your the alien for the 2nd time...

use the old meat on the crab trap to get the fish hook...Now use the fish hook on the phone cord to get *fishing line* .....you can now go to the bathroom and get the key

What you are calling a cable...I am calling a phone cord, I don't want you to get confused. The cable is hooked up to the car in the front of the house....here in New York, we call it a jumper cable

One bug - I couldn't turn off sound and music; found the controls but they had no effect.

Thanks for the heads up on the music and volume sliders, I neglected to see if these things were working. I assumed they did, that's what I get for assuming. I'm really glad you like the game, I have a grin from ear to ear. And thanks for the rating too.

I have decided to make a walkthrough for The Visitor to make it easier for everyone to finish the game.

Take *glow stick* from cabinet under the computer desk
Leave room/ Read note/ Become the Alien

Play as the Alien

Blow the human up for disgusting enjoyment
Go to the laser room and take the *tape* from the small cabinet on the wall
Go to the escape pod room and use the tape on the garbage disposal handle
Go to the laser room and take the *pipe* from the air vent
Go to the escape pod room and take the *frozen hand* from the freezer
Use the pipe on the frozen hand/ get *frozen hand with pipe*
Use the frozen hand with pipe on the fire/ get *hot pipe*
Use hot pipe on garbage disposal doors/ get *bent pipe*
Use bent pipe on crank mechanism/ escape saucer
If you wait to kill the human once you acquired the bent pipe, he will melt instead of blow up.

Play as the human

Take the *plunger* from under the sink in the bathroom
Go downstairs and see the news report/ hear loud explosion
Go to the foyer (entrance room) to the left/ see the basement key in the air vent
Go to the reading room with fish tank and take the *cactus needles* from the cactus
Go to the right and use the plunger on the attic door/ Go up in the attic
Walk to the right and look in the telescope/ see your girlfriend naked by the window
Open the crawl space door and use the glow stick in it/ Take the *doorknob*
Go to the kitchen and use the doorknob on the pantry door/ go in pantry
Turn on the central air system/ Take the *draino* on the bottom shelf
Go to the bathroom and use the draino on the tub/ lose your Granfather's ring
Go to the entrance room and notice the key is missing from the vent/ check the shoe rack/ Take the *basement key*/ Go to the dining room
Use the basement key on the basement door/ Go in the basement
Take the *bent screwdriver*
Use the bent screwdriver on the vise in the treehouse/ Get the *screwdriver*
Go to the attic/ Use the screwdriver on the Vent/ Go to Jimmy's room
Take the *apple*/ check the doors under the pirahna tank for a flashback
Use the cactus needles on Jimmy's vaseline jar to prank him
Go to the side of the garage and use the apple on the worm/ get *apple with worm*
Use the screwdriver on apple with worm/ get *worm*
Use the worm with the tequila bottle in the dining room/ get the *tequila worm*
Use the tequila worm on the pirahna/ take the *tool box key*
Use the tool box key on the tool box in the reading room/ get the *wrench*
Go outside to the front of the house and speak to Mrs. Williams
Go to the pantry and turn the valve on the pipe to the up position/ hear water sound
Go to the basement and use the wrench on the pipe trap/ Get the *ring*

Become the Alien again

Chase the cat from the boat dock
Go to the treehouse and see the dog
Take the *frozen leg of lamb* from the garbage pail
Go to the dining room and take the *clothes hanger* from the hutch
Go to the living room and take the *phone cord* from the phone
Go to the bathroom/ take *hairspray* from under the sink
Go to the attic and see the spider blocking your way
Use the frozen leg of lamb on the blender/ get the *old meat* and *bone*
Go to the boat dock and pull the crab trap out of the water
Use the old meat on the crab trap/ get *fish hook* and *crab claw*
Go to the treehouse and use the bone on the basement window to get rid of the dog
Go in the treehouse/ send the cat in the basket to the attic
Go to the bathroom and use the fish hook on the phone cord/ Get *fish line*
Use the fish line on the pants/ get the *key to Jimmy's room*
Go to Jimmy's room and take the *pliers* from the floor
Open the doors under the pirahna tank/ get *charger* and *rocket*
Go to the attic and take the *battery*/ use the battery on the pulley system
Take the *lens* from the telescope
Go to the front of the house and use the pliers on the car hood/ get *jumper cables*
Go to the treehouse and take the *battery* from the basket
Use the battery, hanger or jumper cables on the CB radio/ darn..The battery is dead
Take the *bowling ball* and use it on the treehouse ladder
Go down the ladder and take the *Taser* from the knocked out human
Go to the living room and use the charger on the outlet/ get *charged taser*
Use the charged taser on the CB radio/ contact the mother ship
Go to the garage/ use the hairspray on the spider web/ now use the lens on the web
Leave the garage/ Your now locked in the closet
Use the crab claw on the ropes/ get *rope*
Open the desk/ get *menu*/*matches*/*bottle cap*
Use the rope on the rocket/ get *rocket with rope*
Use the rocket with rope on the nail/ get *nail*
Use the menu under the door/ Use the nail on the keyhole
Pick up the menu/ Get the *closet key*
Use the closet key on the door
