Hi!

I'm stuck in the new SQ fan game.

I managed to get the axe and "fix" it like it was described in the magazine.

But now it's rusty...

How can I get the axe in better shape?
Tried it on the boulder or on the bright area, but it did not work.

Or perhaps I need to do something completly different?

I didn't even get that far

Trying to get the axe handle from the other shore, but it says the long cane is too smooth. And I'm out of ideas for making it less smooth.

Attention - spoiler!

 (unfortunately I have no idea how to format the text to make it invisible without selecting it...)

1) You need to attach something to the cane
2) If you don't have anything for attaching look under some foliage.

I've just registered to ask this question because I'm completely stuck.

How do you get the cane? I thought the solution had something to do with the termites but I can't do anything with them. The only inventory items I have is that sports magazine and the fishing hook.

You'll have to examine the campfire area a bit closer first.

I figured out the rest. I usually get stuck because I'm missing something, not because I can't figure out puzzles.

Wow, that was short but there's more to come - I hope. I did have some fun playing this game, so thanks for making it.

Maybe someone will if they have time.

Really, the game is quite short and the puzzles are logical enough that you should be able to complete the game with perhaps a few pointers

For the disappearing text use the magic word "hide" inside these guys [ ] and the same thing afterword with a "/hide"

What freaking foliage?  I'm sure I've clicked on everything, even the obscure clovers, but no attachment objects.  I thought we were being set up for a pole vault over the river ala sq3, then I just noticed the resin and thought for sure that would work, but naaaaay.

Thanks Arj0n, twas was a bit too well hidden; they all look too identical to think there's not a generic response to all of them, and there's no sparkle or anything to grab the eye.  After that, I finished the game in about 3 minutes.

some little 'friends'to get the bamboo

2. Did you found the

little can with substance already?

3. Use

something on the can to be able to know what's inside

4. Then you are

able to use it on the bamboo to lure the little friends
