stuck on the first planet, any tips?

walk along the stream (southeast) after the 4th screen, however, there are two items to collect from previous screens

the scenery and music are phenomenal!

you need to carefully move to the bottom-right corner of the screen, pay extra care avoiding the tentacles and ink blobs! I got eaten tens of times!

ahh! I get it now. You can wander past the fat chunk of tentacle to the bottom right as it can't wrap that part around you

i must admit that I have encountered the most creative idea for a navigation system in a sci-fi game!!
now I don't know what to do hanging in deep space

In your inventory, if you use the hand icon on that navigation thingy you get at the start of the game, it shows some moons on a radar sort of thing. You have to wait until the moon turns green and then click the navigation thingy on the moon that is floating across your screen.

Hope this is helpful. I'm stuck a little later on...

I am on pier 1, and heard that Lance is on pier 3, but I don't have a card or anything. I can carry some paint around, and got nails/bug device

did you get some ice from Triton? Use it on the elevator scanner to destroy it...
