So, um, is there any way to survive the final fight against the computer?  Seems a shame to go through all that just to die by friendly fire...

Holy smokes - sorry I hadn't seen this thread until today.  You're right to believe in a way through the last fight. There's a hint in the manual (although somehow the installer used by the bake sale folks breaks the folder structure and the images don't display correctly). Anyway, all it says is:

Don't attack the CPU at the end! -RH

If that's not explicit enough....

Be sure to try using all of your non-damaging abilities against the CPU.
