Topic: Quest for Glory 2 VGA: walking to Raseir?

It has been confirmed that you can actually walk to Raseir without the caravan in the original Quest for Glory 2. So I was wondering, can you do this in the remake by AGDI?
I don't think you can, but I'm still asking.

In the original you can walk from Shapeir to Raseir (West, North, West (repeatedly)).
But this way you can't enter Raseir....

Don't know if this is possible in the remake, but it would make sense anyway.

Of course you can't enter it. I just want to set my eyes on it.

I've started a new game so I can test this myself.  I'll send a screen cap in my next post if I'm successful in the endeavor.

I have travelled across the desert and bring news on whether it's possible to visit Raseir early.  (in case the below screenshots are dead links, I also uploaded the screenshots here.)

Here, we're standing outside Raseir, not Shapeir.  You can tell because of the constellations.

So, in conclusion:  Yes, it's possible to visit Raseir early in the VGA remake.
