It won't work if you have Facebook blocked for whatever reason though

That hadn't occurred to me, but that's probably the case.

Is there any link to the database on the main forum page? Seems like that'd be nice.

I find I have troubles with the sticky threads at the top. They look more like regular threads and I find I'm constantly reading them. Especially the beginners' technical thread.

Would something like this be better?

Lighter background color than regular posts, not all one solid color. Also moved that icon to the left side of the thread title instead of on the right. I probably should have gone a tad bit lighter.

Link the logo at the top to either the main page or the front page of the forum? I keep trying to click it to no avail.

I added an 'AGS Community' navbar item.  It currently has the main page, games page and wiki.  Is there anything else people would like to be included?

How about changing the fonts color of the sticky threads to make them more obvious (only for the headlines to be seen at the shown page)?

Hm, strange. I can right-click them (on Firefox 12) without any problems.

Using IE it works for me with all the other links in the forum/threads, but not from the navibar above (Home, Help, Search, Profile ...).

Edit:
I'd like to have a link to the MAGS site and the AGS Archives in there, too.

Not sure whether this is mentioned yet, but it seems that upon browsing a member's profile page we can no longer see the member's login name but only the in-game nick (unless I missed something and had been looking at wrong places). If this is done on purpose and is privacy-related I'm fine with it, but the reason I want to know one's login name is because we can then identify members easier, as nicks could be changed any time. One use is in the Hall of Fame thread, in which I used to reference members by their login names, for obvious reasons.

Would it be possible to add a rep system for each member? I don't know how it works but I still think it looks cool.

As Eric mentions...This is minor, but on the top right I feel like clicking on "Adventure Game Studio" should take you back to the main "bigbluecup.com" page.

The new board and topic organization looks great so far!

Yes, I should add that most of the things I've mentioned have been minor. I hope we're not piling too much on. I figured while you had the hood open, we might as well suggest a few things. I think the new board looks spectacular (and, as I browse the site mostly on a big-screen TV on which I've zoomed in the site, and on my phone, I don't mind the padding that everyone else seems up in arms about).

Looks like you have enough to fix already , but there's no CAPTCHA when you try to send a PM.  So unless you get lucky or your psychic powers are in tune, you can't send any messages.

It seems that when you click the "new" button of a thread the first unread post of the thread is not displayed in another colour like before.

Actually I would prefer to see a new posts bar indicating that everything below the bar is new.

There isn't meant to be...  I've had regular users send me messages just fine since the upgrade, so I'm not sure what's wrong for you?

I can't log in from the main page on my phone, because the login button ends up behind the logo. I can login by going to the specific login page though so its not a life threatening issue.  :)

when clicking on the "Advanture Game Studio" banner on the forum, the user should be redirected to the main AGS website.

ATM I don't see any obvious link.

Sorry to repeat myself, but I really think the "Latest Topic" link on the main page should be above the member who posted in it.

I keep clicking on Monsieur OUXX's profile instead of this thread. Don't make me learn new things! In-by not by-in!

EDIT: Yay!

In the upper bar the item "My messages
  • " does the same as the menu item "Read your messages".

Only "Send a message" would be needed as menu item.
