I'M in the vault past the magnets and
have 2 fuses and a conFusing puzzle. (well, actually I have 3 fuses but the 3rd one doesn\'t fit and it works with 2 fuses as well but with a bit of fiddeling.)
Which touchpad equals which number? The lines and fuses are in another order than the touchpads.
And in which order do the numbers have to be entered, as the lights start to light up from the right.

look at each fuse with the number, put the fuses into the slots, look at the touch pads closely, especially the lines that are connected from the lights above them.

looking at the fuses did the trick, there was something I needed to do before using all 3 ;)

Beat the game a few days ago (no hints -- like a boss), but feels like there should be alternate paths/endings, based upon the way events played out. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Beat the ornate safe puzzle - yay!

Stuck now though...

I've moved the arm over to the correct box to get the blueprints, but I think I need to get rid of Johnson for a while so for Bennett to use the archive - perhaps something about telling him Samantha is down in the basement?

I'd recommend to leave the blueprints for now, and follow up on Ray's contact. It'll become apparent later on why.

The city archive's *system* is more 'elaborate' than it might appear at first glance!

I've got the drug Ozzie wants and am pretty sure I can get the FTTN from the Antevorta computer (I have a swab of Morales' DNA), but I can't find a way to distract the receptionist.  Or somehow become an authorised user.  I've tried everything I can think of right now, a subtle hint would be appreciated!

Have you tried getting Ray to talk to the receptionist again?

Gah I hadn't!  Well, I had, just not about the
mainframe
- it must be the only thing I forgot to talk about!  Duh...

Took a while to work out the magnets puzzle, but now in the vault itself.  Seeing what secrets are in store
and whether it's really Bennett or actually Ray who's the bad guy here
will definitely have to wait until I've had some sleep now though - curse you Vince!

Yes, there are :)

I guess maybe I should have been more specific. I've gone through the entire game again looking for new paths, but I haven't found any. In particular...

I thought for sure that if I had Anna save the research instead of destroying it that Ed wouldn't turn out to be the bad guy but instead someone else. But, maybe I was thinking too much into it. I did find a couple different endings at the very end depending on how you handle Ed, of course, but that's at the very end of the game. Are there other paths that I missed?

CoolGuy - as I haven't quite completed the game this is only a guess, but
quite early in the game, didn't you have a choice whether to trust Bennett or not?  I wonder if that's a game changer.

Not really a hint request, I just wonder,
when is player normally supposed to decode the cypher in Javi's journal?
I did without any clues as soon as I got control over characters at the baseball field after Anna's escape from apartment. Was it too early? ;) heh, just curious.

There is no special time to decode the journal as far as I am concerned, however you can use Anna's LTM to get a hint

Been through the game twice now trying completely different approaches at several seemingly crucial points, but I'm still getting the same ending. Maybe all the choices are just a red herring? LOL

No, there are actually more endings, depending on how you response to Ed's questions and what you do...especially in the final battle

Okay, well I definitely got "good" and "bad" endings in the final battle, but I didn't mean those. I meant that it seemed like there were large branches of the plot which would change direction if you chose differently halfway through the game. Maybe not -- it just felt like that was the case. :)

Well, there's a third possible outcome to the end-battle:

If you make certain dialogue choices, Ray will become convinced that Ed is right, and you can make an alliance with him.

I don't think there are any significant branching points prior to that, though.

I'm stuck trying to:

turn off the leak

I assume that I need
Saul's wrench. But it's not in the maintenance closet and he insists that it is. I've gotten into the access vent but don't see what I can do there.

What's odd is that according to Saul's story, he broke the window with the wrench and then jumped out the window. So I would not expect it to be in the closet despite his insisting that it is. But I don't see it anywhere...

Thanks!

I'm not sure if I've remembered this right, but have you tried
speaking to Saul again?

Yes, many times, both characters. Unless there's a topic I missed discussing.

if it's any help, he gave me the keys and insists that the wrench is in the closet but it's not. He still insists it's there
