Topic: 5 hour gap in Amsterdam

So, I'm currently in Norway doing some business and seeing family etc. but this Monday I'll be going back to the UK!
However, there is a 5 hour gap from when I land until my next plane takes off from Amsterdam! (I'll probably have 2-3 hours to spend if I leave the airport).

So I was just wondering if there is anything close enough Schiphol worth seeing/visiting?

Certainly. The city center of Amsterdam is just 15 minutes away from Schiphol airport. There's the canals, a few museums, and a famous shopping street all within walking distance - not to mention the red light district
