I'm stuck getting the headless Vamp's Name to search through the town records. Percy = no help. I may have tried to stake him a couple of times.
The town records is in one of the buildings, but you can't rely on that entirely. If only there was another place where they write down the names of dead people...

He reads the names of the tombstones but seems content to leave it at that.
Stuck again:I have just finished the story and am looking for "weird places". I was thinking either Berkeley Square or that sunken city would qualify, but no, it has to be something new...

That is a guide to "weird places" . Anyways, I am currently stuck to on this part the crypt maze after you go down the manhole with all the rooms in it, i have tried every single item, but none of them work and it's almost the end of the game, i almost had an aneurysm trying to figure it out
I am stuck after 5 minutes. What do I search the computer for. What is the Cardinals name? No info for Knights of St. Anthony.

Pick up the pebbles and go back to the room with the policeman and then throw the pebbles in the doorway leading north. Now you can go across the room. Take note of the writing on the wall: "NO ONE SEES".

And now, with 91/100 points, I have another problem. How do I light the sewer? It says I need another light source because the lighter gets too hot. I've been exhaustive in my search and have found nothing.

I've been exhaustive in my search and have found nothing.i remember you need to combine the bone with one of the paper items you have (forget which one it is), the motor oil and then the lighter to make a makeshift torch
Or are there only 2 endings?
BE A MAN! MAKE A GAME!
Stupot+:Have you examined every carving on the tree outside the butcher shop? Have you asked the records keeper about the initials after examining the carvings? Have you examined every grave in the cemetery? Hope this helps!Need more hints for the secret ending (pretty please?):Where exactly is the dog-head shaped key mentioned by thepr? I've already completed the game once on the Alice route -- but didn't come across any dog-head shaped key.
ok ao i cant find the name of the vampire now ive read the hints read the grave stones someone talked about a tree with carving but the only tree i remember is the one in the grave yard that dosnt seem to be it
theprThanks! But unfortunately -- I still don't have the key in my inventory even after replaying the Alice crypt sequence and talking to Percy at the hotel. Maybe I haven't met another specific condition?
Im stuck at the pub. I have the travel brochure, but the guy won't accept it. I can't seem to find any way to dry it out. Help!
ok so forget my last hint request but what do i need to get the old lady to let me in
Stuck at the car chase. I keep on throwing the kids magazine at the knight's car but it just blows away. Am I just suppose to keep doing that repeatedly or is there more to it?
ok last hint for me i think what oh what to do with a soggy piece of paper?
David:In each starting room there's a drawing of Notre Dame with a word or words below. In the first room, it's NOOSES. Like it says on the sign in the hotel, in French, "west" is spelled "ouest", thus O = west. So from the first actual maze room, go north, west, west, south, east, south.
ok one more I cant reach the heart from where i am
@dbuske there is a reason Percy is behind the door try talking to him
I couldn't get by the guy with the gun in the beginning. Have to get back to thee game.Only played 10 minutes.
I'm also having trouble in the church. I've got the hanger and I've bent it into a hook shape. However, when I try using it on the statue chest, nothing happens. Am I supposed to be doing something else entirely? .
Stuck at the pub on day 1.Ordered the drink three times, fourth time I pass out and the game ends. Is the glass needed for anything?Asked about the meals ordered and used the meals on the dumbwaiter but not sure which meal works. I tried the shepherd's pie and jaffa cakes since the bartender mentioned them, but not sure what to do for desert as I think I tried the 3 choices but got no result when putting the meal in the dumbwaiter. Tried talking to the door in the backroom and to the window outside the pub.
Focus on the dumbwaiter and the info on what the guy above ordered. No special items are needed.
Quote from: Ascovel on 11 Aug 2012, 09:57Focus on the dumbwaiter and the info on what the guy above ordered. No special items are needed. Are the jaffa cakes the only one I got right? I didn't see pheasant, quiche, and juice, or quail and jellies, or prawns and quesadilla listed on the menu. Also when the bartender said he ordered the pie does he mean the shepherd's pie or is he talking about something else? Everything I've tried putting in the dumbwaiter just comes back down empty.
Unfortunately (for you ) this puzzle is all made out of red herrings and the challenge lies in noticing what is actually important in the orders. HINT: Take notice that the bartender specifically mentions they don't have even half of the stuff the guy in the room above ordered.
Stuck again in the pub, still on day one.The task is now to find "weird locations" for the guy in the bar. Am I correct in assuming that I'm to use the computer in the library to look something up?
Having a lot of fun playing the game--but I'm stuck at a spot and I think my problem may be that I missed an item. Help is appreciated! Non-direct help is even better, but I could use a nudge. I'm in the car chase with Otto--I've figured out I can toss magazine pages on the pursuing car, but that's not enough to get rid of them, and nothing else I have has any effect. My inventory is money, the magazine, the Coach & Horses key, and Rosenquist's business card.Nevermind! I got it!
By the way, has anyone found a use for the dog-head shaped key?
