No "moss" doesn't solve any of the riddles.

Okay, this is an additional riddle but one I made up.  Guess the word:

Lee the knight in light brown armor.

Surley?  (Sir Lee)

Certainly :) (Sir Tan Lee)
Tan = light brown.

Ah of course!  Well I was half there, apart from shamefully misspelling surly!!

Atelier

Ooh good one. I thought lee as in "lee |liː| noun the sheltered side of something" hence moss on a tree. Instead of the name Lee, duh.

Renodox

Yes, it was Certainly.  Good for you!

2. It asks no questions,
But demands many answers.
Don't know it until you
Are ready to see what waits
On the other side.

3. You can spin, wheel, and twist
But it can turn without moving.

I suppose I can give you #2 since you're pretty much there.  Although, if anyone would like to hazard a bit more guesses it'd be okay.

The answer to #2 is:

Spoiler
Knocker

And #3 is:

Spoiler
Milk
[close]

To be fair, I have no idea the reasoning behind that one.

Renodox

All right, here's another hidden word riddle:

"How old is this mess?"

Spoiler
Knocker

Ahhh.... I was close with doorbell.  Reminds me of a joke.

Knock knock,
Who's there?
Isabelle
Isabelle who?
Isabelle really necessary when I can just knock?

Renodox

Clever attempt at solving my riddle but the answer is no.  It's a word I'm looking for not a number.
