I am in the church with Barney. I got the statue of Mary tipped over, but now it is blocking the trap door.

You must make a bomb. You'll need shotgun shells, newspaper and baking tray. Go to the tool shed, put baking tray under the vice, use shotgun shells on the vice, put the newspaper in your homemade bomb - and you are ready to blow the statue up.
