I'm stuck.

Spoiler
There are three areas that I cannot solve and I'm at a standstill. The solutions may be related 1) The alien who needs his pants; 2) The "consoll" cloud in the same room (may be related); 3) The green dude who wants something but won't tell you what. I assume that the coloured goo mixing machine is related. I have the vegetables. I got the scrap from the glass machine and the one from the castle. I put the straw in the can with the tape
[close]

Can someone pass me a hint as to what to do next? I think I've tried everything but no avail.

Thank you

(1)Look at the flying saucer from far away...You will see some laundry drying on a line...I wonder if there are any pants there?
(2) The "consolls": You just need to keep using them until they open a door. There is no puzzle.
(3) You need to give the green guy a gold coin.
[close]

Hope those help a bit...I can be more specific if you need more help ;)

1) So I noticed but have no way to get there
2) That's true for the first one. The larger one doesn't seem to work that way. He says not to punch buttons randomly and to look more closely. I am completely stumped
3) Sounds like a plan. I just don't happen to have one! :)

Any suggestions?

(2) That comment about "looking closer" is just a smoke-screen I believe. I did multiple clicks on the large console of both LOOK and USE icons and a door opened in the floor.

(You must get through this door to get closer to your goals in (1) and (3)...

Ah, that explains why I'm stuck.

Anyway, I tried looking and using the consoll about 10 times and nothing happened. I don't think anyone else got stuck here so there must be a way to open the door. I wonder if there's something else you have to do or some inventory thing to make it work?

It's not really a smoke-screen :)
Spoiler
I have included two slightly annoying point&click traditions at separate places in the game. One is books - books - book - books, just slightly more forgiving. And not with books.

And, it's named "console" in newer versions. Had some clean-up.

This is true. The reason I call it pixel hunting is not because of the size of the area. It's because
Spoiler
when an item appears to be one hotspot, then you assume that in order to interact with it, you can click ANYWHERE on the item. There's no reason to assume that you have to click a specific region within the item. If puzzles were designed that they only work if you click a specific 1 cm square of a larger item, then it would be almost impossible to play a game because you would never know what small box to click
[close]

Anyway, I did get past it. But I am stuck again:

Spoiler
I'm in the room with the witch. So far I put 3 keys in the box: the one from the witch, the one from under the mat and the one from the guy in the chimney. I cut the rope with the scissors and he says "ta da" but I don't see any way to progress. I've resorted to trying all items from inventory on each other and all over the room but to no avail
[close]

Any hints?

Yeah, that's why I made him say to look closer. I just wanted to do a variant of pixel hunting, but with a larger area and a hint, and see how it worked. It's just a mean streak I get when I think of games using a variant of books - books - book - books :)

Okay...here is the solution:

Hi,
I need a larger cloud, suppose I have to show something to the fisherman (I got 2 or 3 so far). What to do with the funny - now working - machine next to the grumpy sleeping alien.
Suppose to do all this first before dealing with the witch?

So far I got
Spoiler
duct tape, scrap of paper, acorn, drill, bowl (empty) and the can (taped and with a hole, made by the drill).
[close]

stuck now...

Last thing I did was putting
Spoiler
the red gem stone onto the grave, which moved the stone statue quite a bit. However I still found no way on a) how to get the ball off the statue b) with what to fill the bowl and c) where to use the drill? An answer to any of these three will push me further, I guess...

Just some steps behind ...

@TABATA

It was absolutely not obviously to me, since

the barrels were already leaking and OPEN as well ("I am not putting my hands in that goo!") - but at this time he was unable to fill up the bowl.

And as for the

drill... I already tried to drill nearly all available game objects, except the barrels which I supposed to be already open! So I missed that one.

I'm stuck already, and at a perusal of the thread, far earlier than most people... :embarrassed:
I've managed to get so far (without reading any hints anywhere) to the puzzle with the holes in the wall. I have the 4 sticks, and looking up at the candles above, I'm guessing it should be obvious as to which sticks go in which holes... but i'm confuzzled by it all... possibly playing an adventure game with good puzzles, the morning after New Year's isn't my most brilliant idea to date?

lol... would you believe I had already lit those candles. One shouldn't play games involving puzzles whilst hung over. I loaded it this morning, and worked it out within 20 seconds. Plus ripped through a lot more of the game. Brilliant game!

But I'm stuck again....
Spoiler

1. Can't work out what to do with the witch? Haven't gotten anywhere at all there.
2. I've placed the cabbage in the machine.. not sure if I need to do anything else with this device?
3. I now have a large cloud... not sure what to do with it? I haven't done anything with the fisherman (other than taking the pants off the line, dying them and given them to the shy alien.
4. I'm not sure what the second grumbly dude wants... happy pills maybe?

Oooh, you got all achievements. Maybe a first. The star one at least is almost OCD-like. Or luck :)

Kitty Trouble

Spoiler
I'm having problems with not sure what to do next.

I got past the console and obtained the coin- but not the pants, and don't know what ball-like thing to add to the machine.

I have a small cloud and can't cross the large gap of air using that cloud.

I opened the large door to get the paper, but there is a button that won't move.

Other people mention a "witch" before even moving those 3 guys out of the way. But I see no witch anywhere.

Hints on what to do next would be appreciated.
