He made some AGS games? For test, maybe

Maybe under another nickname :?

Andail

Yeah, the first demo "game". He didn't make the graphics, though.

Gribbler

No, but he made Under a Killing Moon, Pandora Directive and... oh, wait. Nevermind. :)

Radiant

Chris Jones is actually Yahtzee in disguise.

Sledgy

Gribbler, as I know, it's another Chris Jones

And our AGS God just has alias 'Chris Jones' :)

Sigh... You just didn't get the jo... nevermind.
CJ actually made a lot of homebrew games (mostly clones of famous games such as B*bble B*bble, etc.) and tools for DOS back at the time. Adventure Creator was just one of his creations, and the most successful one, that survives until now. He probably never made a "true" game except the demo by using AC though.

Actually those old DOS stuff was the main reason I am here, and it's not AC, since AC didn't even work on my system. Ah, those old days...

MillsJROSS

It's the games he makes us play in the bedroom that are the most entertaining anyway.

Do you have some links or screenshots of that please?

I remember a Command&Conquer clone or something which BLEW my mind when I found out he had made it but I can't remember the name!

You did the same IN Ags ;)

Anyway: Here's his old website, with the stuff he did until the year 2000

Haha yeah any screenshots from some of those DOS games? ;) Nuclear Part 2 - by Chris Jonéz! He had said he will make an AGS game at some point... Perhaps... Nuclear part 3, Rekindled? Writing games for DOS was fun. A bygone era of creativity, over sometime before its potential (and that of say, indie developers) was probably met too. But we'll always have Nuclear Part 2 (but not 1 or 3 sadly). ;D

Radiant

Aww, and SSK and QuickHak can't actually be downloaded :(

Great find! Websites were soo much effin' better 15 years ago!

Apart from those Demo game there was the intro part of SQ4 recreated with AGS as a showcase(I think it's AGS V2.x already, as AC V1.x probably wasn't good enough for that). I didn't remember whether it's CJ himself who made it though.

Sledgy

Does SQ4 recreated version exist yet?

FrankT

Didn't he write and star as Tex Murphy?

Baron

He did do a killer voice cameo for Blue Lobe Inc.... ;-D
