Shader Model 2 for win7 MovieMaker

Hi,

i recently moved up to win7.

I Downloaded 2012 essentials to get MovieMaker but it seems I need Shader Model 2 to run MovieMaker.

Can anyone assist?

I installed MM 2.6 (vista version) it works but at times does not respond...

You need to upgrade, slasher. There might be a cheap AGP card you can buy that supports SM2, but you really to throw a few hundred at (even a low end) new PC that would outperform that P3.

Just verify that you have an AGP 8x slot first. I'm making a total guess based on the P3 you mentioned.

If you were willing to spend about £30 you could get a very nice AGP card. For £150, you could build an up-to-date low end machine. I don't know what a lot of money is to you, but performance would blow your current box out of the water.
