Hello guys,

I don't know what I have done recently but now when I try to open the manual inside the Ags editor it's showing in this way. :(

Have any of you ever had such a problem?
If so how did you get it back as it was before?

dayowlron

did you change your windows theme recently?
Does other help from other programs show up the same way?

Hi dayowlron, thanks for answering. :)

I am pretty sure that I didn't change my theme of windows recently...
But now that you remind me, I have try to put some dll files into my folder System32...
My netbook it's pretty empty at the moment about programs so far, so I can't say if some other programs run just fine...

Crimson Wizard

The manual is in CHM format (Microsoft HTML help), and pages are displayed by Internet Explorer. Maybe there is something that you changed in the IE's configuration. Or maybe you should just reinstall it.

Mandle

Did the page suggest that headphones and a darkened room would be optimal for your viewing experience?

If so:

@Crimson Wizard:
I think that to fix the problem I should uninstall Ags and then to install it again...okay, I try to do that and then let you know. The only strange thing is that I have a lot of versions of Ags inside my folder and all of them now look like this...

@Mandle:
You sincerely made me smile !!! :-D

@Alan v.Drake:
Sadly, I didn't change anything in Windows configurations as I mentioned earlier.
The only thing I did was to add some dll files to the folder System32.
Suddenly, I opened Ags and the manual became all black.

I did not mean reinstall AGS, I mean reinstall Internet Explorer.

Vincent

Okay, forgive me if I misunderstood. I will try to do this.

Has that worked? If not, try this:

From the help there is an icon in the icon bar Options then select Internet Options...
Then on the General tab near the bottom under Appearance click on Accessibility
Then check Ignore colors specified on webpages

dayowlron, remind me that I owe you one !!! :-D
It worked fantastically well, you were great.
Thank you very much for your kind help and for everyone. :)
I just had to disable Ignore colors specified on webpages to make it appear in the normal way again.
I just wonder why because it has always been active and I have never had a similar problem before.

dayowlron

don't know but glad you got it working.
and I might take u up on that "owe you one" offer sometime. lol
