I was really reminded of Neofeud when reading this article: https://www.themarysue.com/gym-bro-robot-kengoro/ :)
The robot even looks like some of the robots in Neofeud!

"Death is the path to life." A little sneak peek. :)

Also, sorry Future Vintage Gaming / Selmiak, I was so sleepy and loopy this morning I couldn't get my head straight! Thanks for stopping in though, at any rate!

that really nice! The left side of that tree trunk is a bit to straight for me, I'd make it more jagged like the right side, but these chrome trees are very well polished :D
But why sorry, everythings alright, any chance a dysmaton devstream happens anytime soon?  ;-D

@Blondbraid: Thanks! Took forever to paint but it has worked out I think. :)

@Selmiak: Yeah I will try to get to one of those next week! This time I did less devving and more playing. Haven't heard much feedback from people wanting to see more development which is why I kind of have been mixing it up.

Here's another late-night stream that I did when I had more of my mental faculties intact:

In this episode, I respond to the "BALLISTIC MISSILE ALERT: SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY" warning I got in my phone this morning (I am Hawaiian from Hawaii). Also continue some work, and also talk a bit about the nature and scariness of releasing indie games in 2017/2018, especially a first commercial release.

Special guests Selmiak / Future Vintage Gaming and Funkpanzer / Definitely mortal (from AGS forums!)

Currently working on animating this particular scene from Dysmaton. :)

If you'd like to support this one-person dev in completing this game, please consider picking up my first cyberpunk adventure, Neofeud. :D

Thanks Cassie. :)  I can't really go into it now as it would definitely be spoilerific. Just use your imagination! :D

Here's the livestream where I go into more of some new developments regarding Dysmaton and Neofeud 2, including a major change! (Hidden by Cassie's request :3 )

Okay SilverSpook, I'm not asking for spoilers but...

Add spoiler tag for Hidden:

it's more a cyberpunk adventure or a steampunk one?

@TheFrighter: It has elements of both I would suppose, although more post-apocalyptic and cyberpunk perhaps.

@Selmiak: Lol

@Blondbraid: Thanks! :D

Hey guys, for those who haven't heard yet, Neofeud 2 and Dysmaton are being merged into a single game. It is currently tentatively being titled "Neofeud 2".

Brand new synopsis below!

'A coup d'etat against the posthuman, immortal Neofeudal Royalty has resulted in a tentative return to a long-forgotten world of "Democratic Republics", "Equality, Liberty, Fraternity", and "Rule of Law".

But the ultrarich do not go quietly as thrones become town-halls and corporations are turned into worker-owned co-ops; the plutocrats fight the redistribution of their quadrillions, even with the threat of the guillotine. To make matters worse, riots, shootings are on the rise as inter-species tensions increase between humans and the humanoid machines, transgenics, non-corporeals entering their formerly mono-cultural communities.

An ex-con robot from the slumsprawl ghetto and the radical socialist daughter of a billionaire wind up unwilling partners in the Coastlandia Police Department. Called in to investigate a routine self-flying aircar crash, they uncover a spiraling conspiracy involving far-right "Humanity First" groups, sentient machine neo-revolutionaries, and diehard remnants of hypercapitalistic Monarchies that will shake the social and cosmological fabric of the universe(s)...'

Been taking a short break from working on Neofeud 2, but for a good cause!

I just interviewed William Gibson. The future is unevenly distributed, but the author of Neuromancer et al. has graciously fenced some atemporal sci-fi-continuum to Silver Spook.

Holy heck! Dude! In two posts you've reached a critical mass of awesomess that might trigger a singularity! 8-0

I'm going to miss Dysmaton, it was a cool title - but the merger will definitely make Neofeud 2 that more awesome.

And an interview with Gibson? How did that happen?!

Re: Neofeud 2 AKA Dysmaton
« Reply #158 on: 09 May 2018, 21:27 »
Thanks Fitz. :)

Well, you know how I mentioned that I met my wife and William Gibson at the same time in the podcasts? It has to do with that. To be honest, I am kind of surprised that he found an interview with me to be worth his time, given that there are just a handful of video interviews with him out there, but to speculate on what makes me special would probably be a public act of narcissism on my part. Needless to say, I am honored.

To be honest, I think that Bill is just a very nice and chill guy. Probably helps that he likes weirdness, and I think I have a good amount of that. :)

Look at how far you've gotten with your podcast! From chatting with the little ol' me to interviewing to your idol! In under 20 episodes! The big question now is: who do you interview NOW?! Hm... Rutger Hauer? Keanu Reeves? The digitized consciousness of Stephen Hawking?
