Dots on images appear

I wondering why images can end up having dots on them when in-game?

Setting transparency and a colour that looks identical to the naked eye is not quite the same and therefore not transparent?

Think you're going to need to post examples to get an answer to this one buddy!

The images affected do not have any transparency and are imported as such...

All images are .png

ags 3.4.0.14

320 x 200

32 bit

Can you show one of the relevant sprites and a screenshot so we don't have make random blind guesses?

naturally I have redone these  sprites which are now ok.

If it happens again I will post the sprite.
