Quote from: Plot
Syd finally made up his mind and decided to buy a copy of "The Secret Diary of Britney B". Unfortunately, he reckoned without those spoilsports of the association for protection and safety of children: the book has been banned! But there are always ways to get what's forbidden...

SPOILERS AHEAD!
Add spoiler tag for Hidden:
  • the "Secret Diary of Britney B." references to the first MMM episode where Bernard, to pull a prank on his sister, publishes her diary, which becomes a unexpected hit.
  • the tv show mentioned before Syd tries to get a pizza is a reference to a German fan-dubbing of Star Trek
  • in the Hamstar commercial, the name of the extract used in the food is an acronym for "microwave"
  • the poster on the right next to the pizzeria advertises a Zak McKraken screen adaptation by Disney; it follows Disney's habit, in Germany, of basing the titles of its (last) animation movies on puns
  • the poster on the left, advertising a horror-zombie movie titled "Day of the Dead", references to the Halloween 2005 special MMM episode with the same title (which, in turn, references to the movie by George Romero)
  • Jeff, if talked to about the movie, mistakes this 'fake' "Day of the Dead" with the one by Romero
  • the mistake in the "For sold" sign, in the backyard, is intentional
  • the flier about Ed's missing hamster is intentionally full of mistakes so to remind of the writing of a chilx in primary school
  • the bank clerks mention one of their former colleagues they believe is building airports in Germany, while he's actually studying computer science; this dialogue contains reference both to the episode's author (ConeRX, who studies computer science) and to the notorious Berlin-Brandenburg airport
  • Mr. Was-geht-sie-das-an (mentioned by Syd when he talks to Britney) references to Mr. What Zit Tooya, a character from Spongebob Squarepants
  • the dialogues referencing to a train robbery reference to MMM episode 33, where an actor disguised as an alien from Zak McKraken got arrested; now he's being sued by Disney for copyright infringement
  • "Mick Laus" is a "Micky Mouse" parody

I know very little German, and I know nothing about Italian. So I probably can't do a good translation. But if anyone wants any English proof reading.

None the less, glad to hear there's at least some effort gone to the translations of these games.
