probably the first game, that made me feel uncomfortable was Countdown especially the first part within the sanitarium, maybe not the best choice for a horror adventure game, but I appreciate it some nostalgic values

My favorite is Deadly premonition:

Despite the scene, there are actually some creepy moments too.

Lol, that game has a lot of funny scenes.

There are not that many 3D horror adventures, no, but The scariest adventure I ever played, was "Amnesia-The Dark Decent".

It was so, so scary that I never had the guts to play the sequel. 8-0

The Penumbra series by the same developers is great too.

Oh boy. One should not post things with a serious headache and being nearly asleep through a big load of painkillers. :=

Its music is very good too :)
[Clock Tower OST Track]
I made the mistake of listening to the soundtrack one time when I was at work. After a while I thought, 'why am I so creeped out?'... oh, right.  :P

I played a bit of the avenger of blood AGS-made adventure game. (iirc Donna - Avenger of blood?). Pretty good! Gfx could use refinement, but the tone of the game is really great, and it includes a lot of novel and interesting ideas re the gameplay 8-)

I wonder where in 'middle Europe' the city is, though. TBH it mostly looks like the most boring part of Athens (laugh)

"Donna: Avenger Of Blood", yeah.

It's one of my all-time favorite AGS games!
