First Sprite, C&C Please?

This will (Hopefully) be the main character in a game I am currently planning. This is the first attempt at doing Adventure Game sprites, so I was wondering if I could have some help.

Looks better than MY first sprite.  

CC:  Do you intend for him to walk around with his hands in his pockets?  It might be hard to animate.  I see it was prolly intended, but his head looks lopsided.

Nice, I like, but...
The side view looks really... well... "flat" I s'pose.  His shoulders are a little high up, too.
In both, I'd suggest looking at his neck, maybe making it a little rounder, perhaps.
Funky hair, tho.
