I'm not quite sure why this was happening..

Compiled game. Copied Compiled folder to Desktop. Ran game and the winsetup reverted back to default settings. Not sure why.
Anyhow, winsetup eventually remained as it was suppose to be.

Another enigma.

When you say "reverted to default settings", do you mean that it showed you the settings from config file in that new folder instead of config you've previously set in winsetup for this game? If something else, please elaborate.

Have you, by a chance, renamed your game project just before that, or changed "Save games folder name" option in General Settings?

Hi Crimson...

I did change Saved Games folder name so saves would not appear in game.

That may explain why that happened. Since AGS 3.3.5 the current config file is kept in the savegame folder and has higher priority over the one located in the game's folder. When you change save folder name, your game at first does not find any config there and instead uses default one. Then you open winsetup, edit and save settings, and config is created in the new saves folder, and used from now on.
