Character Animation [Walking FrontView]

My girlfriend made a pixel art walking animation for the first time. What do you guys think?

It looks as though only half of his animation is done.
His right front comes towards us while his left foot moves away from us, then it jumps back to the start of that animation and repeats. It almost makes him look like he has a limp.
