Yes -- I'm an Australian who's also a member of the US National Rifle Aassociation.  

No, I bring this up because recently there was a gun legislation discussion in a previous post, and I forget which post it was.

Thanks for the link DG. Heston is a figure I am really not sure what to think about. Sometimes it seems like he is really trying to fight for the rights and freedoms and other times he just seems to be an ego driven asshole...Either way I am sure some person will take his place who is thurely convinced that someone, somewhere out there is trying to take there precious freedom and will protect it at all costs.

Hey, don't get me wrong I am all for fighting for freedom but the NRA seems more driven by paranoia then any real threat. However! Let us not turn this into an NRA discussion. I hope this Kayne Robinson, who is to replace him, will be a resonable person.
