is it possible to make a settings screen

Hey oh masters of AGS I have just spent the last two days creating a menu screen similar in function to the one in the Quest for Glory 1 remake.

you Activate the menu with a button on the gui bar, then a smaller screen pops up over the game screen. (well I'm sure you know what I mean)

Is this possible , I don't want the whole screen to be covered so I probably wouldn't want it as a room, so would I want this as uhm a sprite or a gui,

Yes of course it is   You would make it as a GUI, something I can't really help you with..

Just make a settings gui that covers most of the screen and have it turned on by the button on the gui bar.
