Another video game movie

Could interest some of you, as this one is a bit more of an adventure game than say.. Tomb Raider. This goes to show you what a huge market video games are, haha, oh god someone put me to sleep the day they decide to make "Myst the Musical"

But more on the subject: I think an AitD movie would work, if they focused on character and plot development.

This however has potential if they do it right.

Blade Runner's the best film-based-on-a-game in my opinion. Although the game must have been in development for AGES since they screwed up the release dates LOADS!!! The film came out WAAAAAY too early!!!!

Ha! MacPhee, are you trying to bargain me down from the musical?  What if I just took a croquet mallet to both knees for the miniseries? Is that a good compromise?

Dude, this should be a great mini series. No dialogue except for one five minute period of every show when these horribly acted brothers whine about eachother.  Put me down Mr. McNeil.

I liked the Tomb Raider movie. And the Super Mario Brothers movie was fun, even though it was only vaguely based on the game. I weep at the idea of a Myst miniseries and Alone in the Dark might translate well to film.

I, for one, would like to see a movie based on Princess Tomato. People would at first assume it was something in the vein of VeggieTales, but would soon learn their horrible, horrible mistake!
