I think BFC was pretty much a huge advert for Canada. I hate the cold, but damn that movie made me want to move to Canada.

Seriously though, I am rather biased when it comes to Michael Moore. I was born in Flint, MI and lived there until I was 21. Everything he says about Flint is ten times worse. So, maybe that makes up for his other fudged facts :. Although, I must say it bothers me to hear that any facts he mention aren't true, but DG covered that well enough.

America is such an ass-backwards country and most Americans have no clue about it. Our health care sitiuation is ridiculous. I haven't been to a doctor in well over five years. If I broke my leg tomorrow I'd just have to shoot myself in the head and have somebody dump me in a dumpster somewhere. I couldn't go to the hospital, I'm so far in debt already, if I went to a hospital it would financially kill me right now. And before some twit says something about free clinics, have YOU ever been to one? I'd rather shoot myself.

I could go on but, that would be redundant. America sucks and that's that. If you think I should "move to another country if you don't like here" then you know NOTHING about America. The point of democracy is to fix these types of problems. However, our democracy is corrupt and flawed and IT needs to be fixed. Then we can fix health care, homelessness, unemployment, hunger...etc.

Of course material like this is important to those outside the US not for any sneer factor, but because the US represents an exacerbation of the problems we have in our own countries, or what our leaders may take us to.

As well, considering the average american doesn't pay attention to much going on outside the US unless it involves casualties or effects the economy somehow..

even that only perks interest for mins.

Note: The above used the word average as to be meant as just that...The average person I know is like this. I did not read this from some huge study or document hours of people watching TV. Just what I noticed..
